Chicken Pox During Pregnancy

does anyone know what harm can be done to the baby because i think i have chicken pox and i'm 5 months pregnant??!!??

I think that depends..usually with chicken pox you get a fever...its never good to have an elevated temp during pregnancy because it can end up causing brain/nuerological problems with the baby...I think chicken pox can also do this...you should call your doc immediately...there really is nothing they can give you for it but they will probably want to watch you more closely...good luck

Well thank God that you are five months pregnant no harm will come to the baby. I had chicken pox with my first pregnancy, I was worried but the doctor told me that I was past my third month, I got a few days off to rest and I patiently waited to get well...
