is it common for it to feel like you did situps in the area above and around the belly button?

I dont know if it is common but now that you actually put it that way..thats how my upper tummy has felt off and on...seems to be when I do too much so that is probably what it is caused from...

i know that when you lie down that your not supposed to push yourself up from your back as it ruptures your muscles(its not serious, you just need them more for labour) maybe youve just been pushing yourself up the wrong way. Thats what midwife told me why my stomach was so sore. i hope that made sense.x
