Where did all the December mommies go?

My computer at home is dead, it got fried when lighting hit us. So I got to sneak at work and check this board. But I am here!! Getting used to the idea of a girl, we are still trying to pick out a name. Anyone have names yet???

Hi Jess- That really b__ws about your pc, the surge proector doesn't protect it? What names are you considering? I think I am pretty much set with Lucas William but it could still change. How are you feeling? Colleen

Hey Colleen-We had the computer plugged into a surge protector but it didnt work, it was kind of old. Oh well.. Some names we have talked about Ashlyn, Ashley, Angelina. My husband wants to do another "A" name.

I love all the names you have picked out, of course Ashley is my favorite since my little sweet 19 month old is also Ashley. Do you think it's time to start a December Mommies part 2?

Yes! This one is getting too long to scroll down. Ill let you start it :o) I like Ashley too. My husbands suggestion is Angelina- I didnt like it at first but it is starting to grow on me. Our last name is very long and italian sounding so I dont know if Angelina would be too much....

Haven't been on in a while, but glad to see everyone is doing well. I am Tara, due December 21 st. Still waiting to have my ultrasound. They want to wait until August 14th, since I had 10 u/s when I had the subchorionic bleeding. It's my second baby, have 11 year old boy, so this is like starting all over again. I am sort of hoping for a girl, but I am sure I can handle a boy, It really doesn't matter, I just want to know!! i am so excited. Does anyone else feel that it is so hard to wait between appointments. I get so excited to hear the heartbeat and to know that everything is okay, I'd like to go every 2 weeks.

We named our first Morgan and hubby wants to keep with the M names so we are thinking of McKenzie Marie. Initials will be the same which worries me, but he likes the idea. We already have a Mason and a Alexis Marie in the family. I like Alexis and Alexandria for girls names... haven't thought about it much tho.

jess- I will make a new thread after this post. Angelina is pretty but keep saying it with your last name to see if it works or not. Hi Tara- has the bleeding stopped? I had a sibchorionis hematoma early on without bleeding but it has reabsorbed. I told my doc how stressed I was about this pregnancy and she has been seeing me every 2 weeks to hear the heartbeat. My doc is awesome, I am so glad that she humored me instead of making me feel like an idiot. Maybe your doc would do the same if she knew you were worrying alot. It sure helps me. Jenniferjo- I love the name Morgan and Mackenzie, you still have plenty of time to decide. Does anyone else feel like those name books are ridiculous? Some of the names in them aren't even names.

TaraO - July 24

Thanks, I never bled It just reabsorbed too. But it still made me more nervous with this pregnancy. It is so scary. I should ask the doctor, I don't go until the 15th, so maybe when I go back. I am going on vacation before that so I should be able to keep busy. I love the name Mackenzie. It's really pretty. I am thinking of Nina Sophia - or Michael Matthew Pretty traditional I guess. I don't want to think too much until that ultrasound.

Jennifer- I like McKenzie.... I am driving myself crazy over this name thing. I know Im only 21 weeks so I have a while to pick one out, but nothing really seems right yet.

20 weeks today- half way through- yay! Last time it took me about 3-4 months to convince hubby of Morgan's name. This time it is him that is insistant that we find a name. When you all are talkign about reabsorbing are you talkign about losing a baby? I found I was pg Dec 19, 07 and the doc said I'd lost it on Dec 26th. My cycles were so screwy that I still am not sure how far along I was(guessing about 5/6 weeks). I bled alot, but not more than a long heavy period so the docs (family and OB) weren't worried. Neither mentioned anything about reabsorbing. I did have a cyct though that just dissappeared. Off to work on letters with my 2 year old. Hope everyone is well!
