I know what you mean. I am 13w3d and so glad that the first trimester is over. Have you had the u/s yet, I can't remember when you said you were having one? And yes I am sooo looking pregnant but its to be expected since this one is my third. The midwife actually said that my uterus is measuring like I am 16 weeks but only because of being pg before. Anyway, yay we made it! Hope you have a good night and I'll ttys. Brooke

Hey all. I posted in the first trimester but I'll post here too. My name is Stephanie. I am from Ohio but currently live in Mexico with my hubby and son. My son is 1 year old and I just found out in April that I am preggo with baby #2. It came as quite a shock as I had to take fertility medicine to get pregnant with my first. I'm 12 weeks 1 day today. I'm just hoping that my pregnancy keeps going smoothly. My son was actually born 12 weeks early and was in the NICU for 6 weeks. My water broke early due to an infection. Now I'm scared half to death to have another premature baby. If any of you girls have experienced a premature birth I'd love to hear your stories. Anyway I'm due Dec 15th. I don't even have my first doctor appt until June 9th but I'm excited and hoping to see my little bundle of joy. BTW- When does the 2nd trimester actually start? I get so confused with that because some say after 12 weeks, some say 13 weeks, and some say not until 14 weeks.

thats really exciting stephanie! my name is chelsea, my sister had two preterm babies but in her case both were due to smoking. her children are now 4 and 2 and both are totally normal, healthy, beautiful kids. im sure that you will get to enjoy a normal 3rd trimester. the start of the 2nd trimester is usually considered to be the start of week 13. the reason that some people say otherwise is because you cant divide 40 weeks of pregnancy into 3 equal parts. but since the miscarriage odds drop off so dramatically after week 12, most people go by that. my ultrasound is today in just a few hours and then i have my first midwife appointment. im so excited! i know its WAY to early but my hubbie and i bought a nursing chair and crib and i think were going to start putting the nursery together soon. just wish they would tell the s_x of the baby here but in my city nobody will. maybe the tech will let it slip lol! talk to you guys soon!

saw the bean today...AHHHH! i cant believe how beautiful the baby is! instead of a tiny little alien looking thing, there was this perfect little fully formed person, sleeping with his darling little hands curled up by his head. at the end of the u/s the bean woke up and started moving around, it was so precious! aaahhh!!! AND just before we left for the u/s my hubbie took me out for lunch and while i was sitting i felt my uterus, its a great big ball and i was so excited to finally have felt it. it almost makes this whole thing more real than even seeing/hearing the baby. cant wait to feel bean moving around in there. sorry for the long post, im just jumping off the walls right now lol.

Chelsea, That is great! I can't wait til my next ultrasound. Isn't it cool how they actually look like miniature babies? And I hope you get to feel the baby move soon. This is my third baby and I have been feeling it move for about two weeks now, only occasionally though. Well I hope everyone is doing well and I'll talk with you all again soon. Brooke

So hubby and i have been thinking about it a lot and we have decided that we are going to have a home birth! i am so excited, its just the way i always imagined it. he was totally not into it until he bought me a book called "gentle birth solutions" i HIGHLY recommend reading it, its full of all kinds of great wisdom about childbirth. any way, i cant wait to tell my midwife. i know this sounds really weird, but im really excited and looking forward to childbirth. I think it is the most beautiful thing in the world. hope everyone is doing really well!!

I'm finally here. 13 weeks today. I'm feeling great, No more morning sickness. Yay. Good luck chelseaholly on your homebirth. I'm a big chicken so I always ask for an epidural. Even though it didn't work last time. I have been thinking about no drugs this time around though. I hope everyone is doing great. Amanda

I'm doing great. Just very tired but I think it's because I have a 5 year old, 2 year old, 6 month old. I have been feeling my baby move also. So does anyone have there big ultrasound sheduled yet? I go back to the doctor on the 8th and I will be 16 weeks then so I should get to set up my ultrasound. I'm getting so excited to find out what our baby is. I hope everyone is feeling great. Amanda

So when is everyone due again? I'm due December 23rd. Has anyone picked names yet? we have Abel Timothy for a boy. We picked the middle name because it is my husbands dad and he pa__sed away in march and Annalise for a girl.

MyLifeNotYours - June 30

I'm due December 11. If a boy it will be Milton & if it's a girl Cindy. I decided on these names since I been pregnant LOL.

chelseaholley - June 30

im due on dec. 8. still not sure about names, i like mason holley for a boy and jasmine holley for a girl. i really like the name north for a boy but ive never heard it used as a name, we'll have to see what he/she looks like and decide then. it will totally be a last minute thing lol.
