Their are conflicting reports out there. The fact that you are in the second tri is really good. I highlighted my hair when I was 8 weeks and found out even that wasn't supposed to happen. It isn't that they have any proven results...they just haven't done enough research to know. HOnestly...I think it is just fine

dont worry hun. As long as you were in a well ventilated area, its all ok! I asked my doc about it and he said its fine. Most hairdressers will tell you the same thing too. I'm 26 weeks and 5 days and dyed my hair twice so far...once in the first trimester and once in the early second...my roots are showing now... and I have to figure out what color to go with...;-)

I say you are fine! I dyed my hair with my last 2 pregnancies with zero complications....I am getting ready to dye my hair again last time I did it was shorlty after I found out I was pregnant.

I was laughing when I talked to my hair dresser about it and she said that the "people" (not sure who they are) say that the dye can seep into your scalp and cause problems...I was like...WOW the "people" may be carrying that a bit far!

ok good my mom was like Jessica you're not supposed to do that!! blah blah...i didn't know and i was like crying! LOL i thought it was ok...but i did breathe it in...the ventalation wasn't too great....

yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. my doctor said it's fine to do, preferable once in the 2nd trimester though. don't be upset, you didn't know and it's no big deal!

I think it will be fine - especially since you arent in the first trimester - I also dyed my hair - but still in the first tri - both my doc and hairdresser said it was fine. i have an appointment to go again next week - serious regrowth happening!!! I know its hard but try not to stress yourself out about it - I am sure you and your beautiful bub are fine! :)

Hey Llukenjess! I had the same concern, but I asked my doc to be sure and he said as long its a well ventilated area, you will be fine. i did not like being so vain, but as lousy as I had felt through the first trimester It was literally driving me crazy. So once I hit the second trimester, I did mine. Best of luck to you!!!

I got mine done too. Every doctor says different things. When I was pg with my son the dr I was using at that time said no. This time around the dr said yes and I did it. My doctor just told me that I had to wait till I was in the second trimester. I wouldn't worry.
