Just wondering if anyone tried this doppler that you buy at wal mart and if it was any good or if it is worth it to just go on ebay instead, it is only like 25$ish. i wish i knew they had it there when i was pregnant. Also i saw like portable ultrasound machines, i didn't even know they had those. I know it can sometimes jepordize the health of the baby but wouldn't that be so cool? they were actually kinda affordable,very pricey but affordable if you have a savings account,they were like a grand. i bet the picture quality can't be that great though.anyone try those either?

The dopplers at walmart are absolute c___p and a total waste of money. When I was pregnant with my dd I rented a digital doppler from bellybeats and it was awesome! It was the same one my OB's nurse used in our appointments. As for the u/s machine I can't imagine purchasing one but u/s's are not bad for the baby. I was high risk and had several in the first trimester. The doctors all said they are perfectly safe.

I have a HI bebe doppler that I bought second hand. It is great. They are pricey new, but if you are interested they do have a web site. hibebe dot org I've heard also that the walmart ones are not very good. Good thing they have an excellent return policy!

I bought a Hi BeBe on ebay. It was only 99$ with free shipping. I figure that's a good deal because i can use it with future pregnancies too. I love it! I listen to my baby's heartbeat every day!
