MaiTime -- I think we were able to tell at about 17/18 weeks last time around. They didn't give us a FOR SURE until later though (I also had a 22 week ultrasound due to bleeding).

Just wanted to update everyone that i FINALLY was able to hear the heartbeat. They ended up doing an ultrasound because she couldnt' get a clear reading with the doppler. Apparently my child does NOT want to stay still, lol, even the ultrasound tech had a hard time getting one. But he/she's measuring right on, at 14 weeks and 4 days, so things are going well. I'm SO happy.

I've finally made it to the 2nd trimester. It is a really good feeling! I'm still not showing though. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Hi ladies! I'm so happy to hear that each of your are doing so well with your pregnancies. It's been a rough 3 weeks since my d&c, but I'm doing great. I went back to my doctor today and everything is perfect. She had originally said that we should wait until about Christmas to try again, but today she told me that if we wanted we could try now. I'm excited about it, but also scared. I think we'll wait a couple of months though. Soon each of you will start to feel the baby move, if you haven't already...and then you'll be finding out if it's a boy or girl...it's amazing being pregnant, even if you're sick. Enjoy it ladies, it's one of the best things that can happen.

Thank you IsabellasMommy! I'm glad you're doing better and I hope you guys have tons of success when you're ready to start trying again. I'm starting to have a little swelling in my legs. Nothing even visible but I could definitly feel it last night while I was tossing and turning, trying to get some sleep. I'm dreaming every night and having to get up to pee every 2-3 hrs so I'm just not getting the rest I need and my sweetie is a really light sleeper so I think it's driving him pretty much insane. :( I still haven't felt any movement. Have any of you? I don't really know what it's going to feel like so I suspect that I won't realize until the movement is much more pronounced. Does anyone have their u/s to test for gender scheduled yet? I have an appointment next week and it's very possible that we'll schedule my next u/s then. I'm so stinking excited.

Isabellasmommy, I am so glad to hear you are doing well and planning on ttc again! I wish you all the luck and baby dust possible! Please do keep us posted on how you are doing. While I am here I have a questions; can I get a B12 shot while pregnant? I am just so tired and can't seem to get more than 5 hours of sleep a night. I am trying to not OD on caffine but am running out of options...any suggestions? (I have a 2 1/2 dd which only makes me more tired by the end of the day. LOL)

Im due Feb. 18, and will be 14 weeks 2moro!. I still have some morning sickness as well. I have to make sure my bladder is empty if i start feeling sick lol. I blame it on my 14 month old daughter. I didnt have that problem while pregnant with her. My pants are a little tight but not too bad. The heartbeat is around 155 and we're hopin for a boy!

Hi all, happy to be here. I am due Feb 27th, the DAY after my birthday:) I am going to be 13 weeks on Friday, does anyone know when they can tell the s_x? Also, how do we get sleep if we're tossing and turning all night and peeing like 5 times a night? :)

I am 13 wks and due on the 23rd with my first still sick and peeing all the time but more ready to know what Im haveing :)

Ladies? Where is everyone? Is everyone okay? Anyone been to the Dr lately? I go Wednesday and I have to do some blood work and then hopefully when we schedule my next appointment it will be for an u/s to determine gender!!! :) I'll let you all know what happens Wednesday! I'm 16 weeks today. I'm having headaches and what I believe is round ligament pain but other than that I feel pretty good. How's everyone else doing? And is anyone else's pile of baby stuff seem to be growing slower than they want it to. I have no clue how we're going to be ready for baby in 24 more weeks. lol I'm sure we will be, I just don't know how!

Hi FlyBear, not sure why it is so quiet. I guess everyone is just waiting on the next appointment for something to post. I was 16 weeks on Monday as well. I don't go for my gender ultrasound till Sept. 24. I did go to the local Ultrasound school last weekend and was scanned by the OB instructer to see if we could see the s_x. And we would have been able to if the umbilical cord was not going right between the legs! The legs were wide open perfect to tell but the cord would not move. We tried twice over a two hour span. No luck same problem. But always nice to see the baby and know everything is going well. The instructer said we can come back this weekend to try again if we want...most likey will! We caught it sucking its thumb in both tries, it will make a person just melt! I have been getting headaches alot in the past 2 weeks so i am right there with you on that one. My baby pile is next to none. I think it will really start to grow once we find out the s_x so we know more of what to get.

Im 15 weeks tomorrow! Getting closer to finding out the s_x!! We;re waiting to find out the s_x before buying anything. Ive been really good and have ony bought 2 gender neutral onesies. Our daughter is 14 months so we have all the basics. If it a girl we're pretty much set. Though we really really really want a boy!!! I went all pink with our daughter. Both carseats, pack n play, highchair, even the bouncer and walker are pink. So hopefully we'll be starting from scratch. I dont mind!

i am 16weeks on saturday! i find out the gender on 22nd of september! i havnt bought one thing yet! but i get paid tomorrow and was thinking of buying so things! good luck everyone time is going so quickly dont you think lol

Ok I am due Feb. 10th. Is anyone due the 13th....its a friday....kinda cool! We get to find out what it is on the 20th of September. I cant wait. I've bought some cream colored jammies and a lil lamb that attaches to the crib and makes white noise when the baby cries. I feel so good, I've gained 17 lbs but I was a bit underweight to start. I cant WAIT to feel him/her move. I've been going nuts waiting for it so that'll be super exciting!

Ive been feeling little movements since around 10 weeks. Yesterday i had my shirt rolled up and just happened to be looking at my stomach and the baby kicked so hard my stomach jumped! It was so exciting!!

CaliPitGirl - I'm due the 7th but Friday the 13th would be awesome. Though frankly I'd rather this one came early (my son was 8 days late, lol). I'm totally in maternity jeans, I think I've felt the kid a couple times, and I'm definitely looking preggers. However, this IS my second pregnancy, so I pretty much figured by 4 months I'd be looking pregnant. I also just found out that a good friend of mine who had a miscarriage last year is pregnant! She's almost 11 weeks, they've heard the heartbeat and everything looks good. I'm really excited for her. So I've totally got babies on the brain.
