Eat a big meal then lay down without the tv on and you should feel something. I am 18wks and my baby kicks...with all her might. You can even see it. But that is the easiest way to feel it, just eat then relax.

If this is your first pregnancy you may not know what to feel for. I agree with lyn...eat something and lie down...you may just be pa__sing it off as an air bubble or something of that nature.

They say with your first baby it can be up to 22 weeks before you recognise fetal movement.

No, don't worry. I'm 21 weeks and only recently felt little kicks that are few and far between. I went for a scan this week and the Tech told me that my placenta is at the front. I asked her if this was why I didn't feel the baby much and she just shook her head and said I won't feel it much before about 24 weeks. It is my first baby too.
