well, I tried to find that post but couldn't - probably a good thing, it will infuriate me and get me all riled up. :) So I've been watching my niece every day I don't work this week - I'm so tired! I feel better from this cold but it's wearing me out - working, taking care of Rachel, cleaning....I need to register at babies r us and target for my friends - and for myself - so that I know what I need. I think I'll head to Target today. Hey, have you ever heard of Just Between Friends? They have these big baby and childrens sales once or twice a year - and it's all used stuff, but some great deals. Car seats, strollers, beds...you name it they have it. Toys..clothes...They have another sale the first weekend in May in Renton. Just in case it would interest you. ugh...Rachel woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. She cries and throws a fit every time she trips or falls or if we look at her funny. Man....she's throwing ma__sive fits!!!! Throwing her toys too. I think we need to go to Target - and SOON! :) My niece is here till 1 so then Rachel will be nap ready and I can have some silent time to myself!!

It is hard to be pregnant and watch any child, let alone your own. At least you have the week off. No, I have never heard of that store. At this point I have pretty much everything I need. I don't think I am going to buy a double stroller for the time being, but I may change my mind after the baby comes. All I really need now are blinds for the window, baby blankets, a co-sleeper, a Moby Wrap, and on the 9th I get to spend my Gymbucks. I have $250 which means that I have to find $500 worth of stuff. I think I am going to get some summer things for Madalyn for next year, as well as some 12-18 stuff for Nathaniel. I don't want to waste the gymbucks, they are like free money. I talked to one of the ladies that work there and they are going to have a couple of new lines out as well and that is good because I have seen everything else. You know, I have a lot of really cute girl stuff if you want to come look, I'll give you a deal. I think the sizes would be perfect for Rachel . If not then I will put the stuff on Craigs List.

By the way, I made one last post to Cat, I told her she was, "boring me with her c___p", that ought to get her going. I'm not going to post to her anymore, that will get her even more angry that she is talking to herself.

hi there - oh my goodness, rachel was a terror yesterday! I wonder if it's her cold or her two molars coming in?? ugh! She threw a horrible tantrum at Target and was flailing around in the cart trying to headb___t and hit my 4 year old niece - who just sat there like "what the hell?". :) Then Tim took her to my sisters last night while he was teaching and I was at my monthly meeting - and not 5 minutes after her got there she fell backwards and banged her head super hard. Totally freaked him out. That's twice she's done that this week - first she fell of her toy chair that she was standing on (as soon as I walked out of the room). My nieces were over and saw it. She fell backwards and had a red bump on the back of her head. Poor thing! I think I'm going to head down to BabiesRus today and take a look at some things I still need for Jr. :) Bedding stuff, bottles etc...just in case we need them. I made my list...now I got to check it all off! :) I'd love to take a look at the stuff you have (girl stuff). What kind of deal are you talking about? :) I think I'm going to attempt to paint today too - if I can find a color I like.

so I went to babiesRus...registered a few things for fam/friends...and when I was checking out got major hot flashes, flushed face, started sweating bigtime, got shaky and breathless and my heart started racing. It didn't go away for about 45 minutes. I ran across to McDonalds to get something to eat hoping it would help....I fell fine now, but it freaked me out! The dr said it could be low blood sugar and that I need to make sure I get lots of protein snacks. It happened to me last night after dinner though - not as bad - but it's so weird! Totally freaked me out.

Hey, as far as the clothes, it depends on what you would want. I am definitely not trying to recoup what I paid, what ever it is it would be fair. I also have some ecco sandals and other shoes if you are interested. No pressure, only if you want to look. Anyway, I am so sorry you have had to deal with such horrible tanrums. It sucks when all you want to do is run some errands and they don't want to cooperate. Well, I have to take Madalyn upstairs to take a nap, then I have to iron and starch an exrta sheet I bought for Maddy's room, my girlfriend Julie is going to make valances and a pillow from it. I hope the painting goes well. Jimmy and I are re painting Maddy's room tomorrow. I found a spa like light turquoise in that new freshaire paint, it has no fumes at all. I didn't want to have Maddy sleeping in the pack-n-play in our room all weekend because of fumes. Talk to you later.

mjvdec01 - April 4

Oh, about the heart racing thing, how scary. I haven't had that problem. When I was pregnant with Maddy, I just about pa__sed out a few times in the first trimester. My OB said it was normal, and caused by the extra blood flow. I haven't had any problems this pregnancy. I am sure your OB will do something if need be.

hey there - how did the painting go? Fume free paint, I need to find some of that! We painted the walls AND got the ceiling done. I need to run over the ceiling in a few spots and we'll be done and moving stuff to the other room today. So exciting! It's kind of a chocolate brown color and it looks great with all the white furniture have. I love it. :) Not very babyish but I can decorate in any color. My house is a trip hazzard though with all the stuff in our room and the hall way. Can't wait to get it all put back together -I hate clutter and messes!!!! No more hot flash episodes thank goodness but I'm hungry all the time and getting stomach cramps constantly - the muscle kind - in my lower gut. I hate it! but, I feel really good right now. Yay! I need to go get new blinds for the bedroom tonight - and maybe new curtains. I have a ton of stuff to do....ugh. :)

mjvdec01 - April 7

You can get the 'fume free' paint at Home Depot. It is called "Freshaire", but it only comes in certian colors, so if they don't have the color you are looking for then there is a Glidden paint that has low fumes, just ask the paint guy, they will know. I just didn't want maddy sleeping in her room all night with that smell in there. Your nursery is still empty (for now). I am sure you had the window open while you were painting and that is enough for us, atleast that' what my OB said. I love that chocloate brown in a baby's room, you can accent it with whatever color you want. They actually have a really cute crib set at jcpenney dot com that is brown and blue with turtles, it's a new one I haven't seen before. Blinds, yes, I need blinds for Nathaniels room too. I can't go today, Maddy is down for a nap and I am steaming carrots for puree for the turkey meatloaf I am making for dinner tonight, it is the only way I can get her to eat them. Maybe I'll go get them tomorrow. You only have like 8 weeks to go, right? You and Tim must be getting so excited! I have 3 months or less to go and it seems surreal at this point. Have a great day, let me know when you want to get together again.

fefer1 - April 8

whew! I am done with the "baby" room!!! We got it finished tonight and Rachel is all moved in and the guest bedroom is all set up again. I have to switch the closets still and hang her pictures and stuff, but all the "stuff" is in there and set up. I'm totally wiped out now - can't move off the couch! :) Rachel has no problem with the new room, she was super excited to help us move stuff. So cute! And yes, we had the windows open all weekend - it's aired out pretty good. 8 weeks to go - yeah, I'm getting there. Kind of hard to believe I'm in the home stretch, it feels like I've been pregnant forever. Although, for me, this was the time that things slowed down again. When you get super uncomfortable and miserable and just want to give birth to feel better again. I'm having a hard time bending over to pick things up with a big belly in the way - and can hardly roll over in bed with my left groin/pelvic area in so much pain.

mjvdec01 - April 8

At least the room is done and you don't have that ot worry about anymore. I thought you were putting Rachel in one room and the baby in the other? Are they going to be rooming together for awhile? I was afraid to do that, I don't want Madalyn waking up everytime Nathan cries. I also don't think Jimmy would go for a baby boy in a turquoise room. lol. I will be 25 weeks on thursday and am already sick of being pregnant. I am just starting to be really uncomfortable and I still have 14 weeks to go until my induction. I have my glucose test on the 17th and I am all nervous. I have been eating like c___p and it would be just my luck to be punnished with gestational diabetes. I am sure the results will be normal, but it is still in the back of my mind. Oh, I got Maddy to switch to hard spout sippy cups!! What a victory. I have been trying off and on for the last several months and yesterday was the day. I threw away all of the soft spout Nuby cups and now she has all 'big girl' cups... so proud.

fefer1 - April 9

yeah, I'm putting them in the same room for a while - they are little and won't care. :) Rachel sleeps pretty good so I'm not really worried about her. Besides, the first few months he'll be in our room anyways -it's easier for me with the feedings. Rachel was in our room till about 11 weeks, about the time I got sick of all her noises she made at night. :)

fefer1 - April 9

that's good news about the sippy cups! Before you know it she'll be sucking out of straws! :) So tell my why you're going to be induced again? I don't remember you telling me why. Dont' stress about the GD test - I ate like c___p too - and was just fine. I think it's one of those things that you just get - regardless of how you eat. Your body processes things different when pregnant - so good diet or not, you'll get it or you won't. Besides, you'll just have to watch what you eat - and maybe have the baby earlier - which isn't all that bad. :) Less pain and suffering. haha...I'm feeling a bit less exhausted today - yesterday was killer. I had NO motivation to do anything. I forget how easy it is to wear yourself out when pregnant. I cant' go around doing the things I did before and expect to have the same results. ugh..can't wait to be back to myself again. I'm trying to figure out a day that works to get together again - this week is booked up but next week I think I'm free all but Monday and Weds....I've been craving the Olive Garden - I love their soup/salad/breadsticks - and the alfredo sauce. MMMMMMMMM!!!!! What could we do with the kids so they could have fun??

mjvdec01 - April 9

Anytime next week is good for me except for thursday, I have an OB appointment that day. Olive Garden sounds yummy! Madalyn likes it there. Just let me know what day. I am being induced by choice. I was induced 11 days early with Maddy because my OB was taking his wife away for Valentines Day, and everything just went so well and I felt very secure. I am a big fraidy cat and am scared to death of going into labor on my own. My OB told me that up to a week early was alright with him... I love that man. However, if it gets down to the wire and I am not progressing at all I may change my mind. With Madalyn I was already starting to dialate and by the time I got to L&D at 11 days early I was already having contractions, although I had no idea. My hope is that the same thing happens and I get my baby a week early, or maybe I won't even make it to my induction. I think the weather is supposed to start getting better, maybe a park? Maybe just take them to Ikea and let them walk? I know that Maddy just likes to be out of the stroller. Do you have any ideas? I went to Gymboree today and spent my Gymbucks. Maddy now has six outfits for NEXT summer and Nathaniel has an entire summer wardrobe for NEXT summer as well. I just couldn't waste all that free money. I was really quick in the store, last night I got on line and made a list of everything I wanted for sure and then grabbed some really cute things for Maddy. She LOVES new clothes and shoes, she got all excited to see everything when we got home. She is getting to be more and more fun, every month she is able to communicate better and better. Now I just need her out of diapers. Actually, next weekend is 'potty training weekend', I am getting that book, "Potty Train In A Day", a girlfriend of mine used it with her son at 2 and a half and it worked in just about 4 hours! This was a kid who wouldn't even sit on the potty. I think Maddy is ready, we will see.

Did you notice that I post as though answering questions one by one. I'm sorry if it is all hodge podge.

fefer1 - April 10

wow, I didn't know you could decide for yourself to get induced. :) I don't want to go through that again - I hope it just comes on it's own this time. I hated the crazy crazy pain from the pitocin. It is nice though, to know when you're going to have the baby - you can be prepared and stuff. I gained another 4 pounds - so now I'm up at least 40 with about 8 weeks to go. ugh. I really don't know where it all goes cuz I don't feel that big except my belly and my b___t. :) I also had to get some different iron because I wasn't taking the right stuff. The nurse told my my level was a 28. My friend with cancer says that you are anemic if you are under 36 - and she's a 34. So I guess I really need to up the iron intake! I've been trying - taking my pill every night, eating meat with OJ...now I have to take a 325mg pill twice a day. I also realized that the reason I've been feeling queasy lately is because of the iron. Can't wait to see how i do taking my new dose! Potty train in a day??? Hmm...you'll have to let me know if it works! Lets see...what else...next week, Friday works best for me, but I'll have my 4 year old niece with me all day. My sister just asked me to watch her. I'll try to think of something for the kids to do - rachel is a terror if I let her loose. :)
