You know, I posted on this when I was 23 weeks pregnant and now my boy is 7 months!!! I was worried about his movement at the time like everyone else, but I want to let everyone know that even though my situation ended up getting worse ( I had to have non stress tests 3 times a week for the last 12 weeks) in the end every thing was ok. So hang in there!! Be calm and patient and you and your baby WILL be fine.

Hi Katie- Congrats on the 7 month old. I bet you are enjoying every minute of it! I can't wait. Thanks for the positive post. It was very rea__suring for me. I am 26wks 5days and am not feeling much movement. The doctors want me to wait until 28 weeks and then they are thinking of going the NST a couple times a week route. I have some questions for you if you don't mind. What exactly is the procedure for the NST? Did they tell you why you werent feeling movements? I know we are all different but any insight would be greatly appreciated.

i have a question? i am 38 weeks pregnant in two days. I have not felt the baby move at all today. Usually they are moving frequently, just wondering if this is normal? It just started today!

The non-stress test is where they hook you up with sensors (don't know what they're called) to your belly. One is for the fetal heart rate and one is for uterine tension (or contractions). I've had them done for 20 minutes at a time. My baby goes nuts and moves a lot when hooked up. It also records the fetal movement to see if the heartrate goes up when the baby moves.

I am going through the same thing. I am also 26 1/2 weeks.. The kicks arent as rough as they used to be

I'm just about 26 weeks pregnant with my first and I haven't felt him move nearly as much as I have in the few weeks before and I was really worried, but this site rea__sures me. What really worries me though is the fact that I have never really felt any big, huge kicks throughout this hole pregnancy yet! You know the kind that some of you are talking about where it makes you jump =( and that is what really worries me. When I go to the doctors the baby seems to be fine but has anyone else not experienced any big kicks up to this point? Let me know.

I am 39 wks and this baby only moves like 4 times the most throughout the whole entire day and night. Is this a sign that labor is about to start or is there something wrong??

I'm 29weekds pregnant and i noticed that my baby hasn't been moving as much yesterday and today, it got me very worried. ususally when my husbabnd talks to the belly, the baby kicks in response, but no matter what we tried nothing seemed to work. i hope its normal, makes me feel a little better when i read all of your responses.

im 23 weeks pregnant and the baby is not moving as much as it did when i was about 20 weeks is that normal?

Chris - February 8

I'm also 26 weeks pregnant and my baby has been less active over the past few days. I was also wondering if this was normal because someone that I work with, his wife is 30 weeks pregnant and he said the baby is really kicking a lot.

Im 26 wks pg this Friday and experiencing the same thing...Ive heard that baby is in "growth spurt" so nothing to worry....plus I was just in my doctor's office last friday....So I know I shouldnt be too concerned....baby is fine and well. Goodluck!
