could be,but you never really know as i have heard of ppl thought the same way but ended up being a boy,and other ways around :) though i think it doesnt really matter both boy or girl are nice, health is number one !

The heartrate theory is bunk. I asked my OB about it while he was using the doppler. He said 'Ok, it's 140'. Jump up and down for 30 seconds'. When I got back up on the table, the heartbeat was at 160 bpm. He then said 'so, do you think the s_x has changed from 1 minute ago to now'. You have a 50:50 chance of being right but not because of the heartbeat which is dependent on whether bubs is awake, moving and also dependent on the mother's activity level at the time.

Most girls heart rates are above 150 in pregnancy after pregnancy girls heart rates are slower so i heard from a registered nurse.
