Today was such a great day! I got a job that I've really been wanting and will allow to me work full time and go to school full time! Then, my mom and I went to a Goodwill store that is nearby, and I found a changing table in perfect condition for only $30! I really wanted a changing table, but just couldn't see spending the money on one!

Hate to hear about the spotting ladies. I went through that with my daughter and had to be on bed rest for about six weeks. It makes you crazy with worry, so hang in there. I had a small tear in the placenta, which eventually healed with the bed rest. They could see the clot after she was delivered, crazy! Fortunately, the all day sickness is getting better. It is still bad in the evenings, but no throwing up for about four days now, a new record! Congrats on the job Mcbee! I go to the doc. a week from today , which will be near 15 weeks, and can't wait to hear that HB!

Hey ladies! I'm officially in the 2nd trimester...woo hoo! I'm 13w5ds. I have my next appt. this friday...no ultrasound, but I get to hear the heartbeat! I'm super excited. By the way, are you girls showing? I'm not. I haven't weighed myself, but I may have gained 1-2 lbs, or maybe nothing so far. Yeah, sorry to hear about spotting...that would freak me out too, even though I know it's probably fine and nothing to worry about. I hope it stops soon for you girls so you can have some piece of mind :) How is everyone? oh, and mcbee - did you decide on a name?

YAY, I got my bloodwork back today..hubby tested negative for cystic fibrosis carrier ( I was positive for being a carrier) and the downs tests were negative or "normal"...double YAY. Mcbee--That is awesome about your job and the great deal on the changing table! Kimmer--best of luck at your appt Friday, i bet you can't wait to hear the hb! Epigg--Glad to hear of your lack of vomitting record, it has to make it a lot better! I am showing a little bit, I already had a little pooch before pg, now that the uterus is expanding, it is making the pooch, poochier! I have gained 5 lbs so far..most of that was from my milk drinking obsession the first 4 weeks..I was drinking a gallon a day! LOL. Now I have moved on to eating cuc_mbers in vinegar..OMG I love them! Hope you all are doing well.+++Cyndi+++

Thanks for the congrats! Kimmer, have fun at your doctor's appt. I loved hearing the heart beat. Seeing it on the screen was great, but for some reason, hearing it was completely different. Oh, and we did decide on a name. Neither of the ones we had narrowed it down to. The more we thought about it, the more we fell in love with Brinlee. So, our official choices are Keagan Michael for a boy and Brinlee Carolann for a girl. Cyndilea, congrats on your blood work results! You must feel relieved! Hope everyone is feeling great!

Hi ladies how are we today? I am 15wks today but am not sure what to think as my clothes are getting tighter, my belly is popping out a little, I've felt bubbles yet when I weighed myself this morning I'd lost weight since last thursday - just over 1kg (approx 2.2lb). My morning sickness has not been a problem for a few weeks (except 2wks ago I was really sick for 2days) & my appet_te has been through the roof. This didn't happen when I was preg with dd or ds, so I'm not sure if I should be worried or grateful :). Anyway apart from that everything is great, & my s_x drive is through the roof, I've been having lots of raunchy dreams which wake me up, so of course my poor hubby gets woken up because I need him lol. He isn't complaining but I can see how tired it's making him not getting enough sleep (he also gets up to the kids if they wake so I can sleep more, so he's doubly tired). He keeps joking it could be all the 's_xercise' I've been wanting lately that is making me loose weight, maybe he's right. Anyone else experiencing loosing weight or increased s_x drive?

Hi everyone 15w2d today and have been feeling flutters and some flicks from the inside lately. Pretty cool. I can't how hungry I am. Lol. And tired to. Seeing my OB next friday for the first time. I haven't weight myself but I know I am gaining weight as some things are getting too tight! Lol. Hope everyone is well.

Is it ok to feel flutters one day and not the next?

Hey Ladies! I'm 14w today, and have officially moved into the second trimester! I hope all the spotting goes away for those of you who have it. I had some spotting with my ds, but I also had a small tear in the placenta. I just took it easy, and it went away after about a week. The placenta repaired itself really well, because the drs. couldn't see a tear once he was born. I hope everyone's morning sickness is getting better as well. I'm still sick (usually in the afternoon or early evening), but it's happening only once every 3 or 4 days, so that's good. I haven't gained any weight, but I'm already showing. I've finally decided that I'll have to start wearing maternity tops, because otherwise I just look really out of shape!!! I've had the worst sinus headached/migraine since yesterday, and Tylenol hasn't done much. I had this happen a few months ago, and the pain lasted for about 4 days. I hope it goes away soon, because dh and I are going away for out anniversary Saturday, and then we're heading to Disney World on Tuesday with ds. The thought of having lingering pain throughout all this makes me want to cringe! Good luck to those of you who are waiting to find out the s_x. I think we'll wait to be surprised like we were last time. Who knows though, we may just change our minds. Anyway, have a great rest of the week!

Hello Ladies. I am 15 weeks, 2 days. I have been feeling really good for the last few weeks but I was really sick in the beginning with migraines and morning sickness. Glad to see that this is overwith. Now I just am never hungry, which I have been forcing myself to eat and really tired all the time. I have only gained 2lbs since my last OB appt and see the OB again next Friday but I know that I haven't gained anymore weight but my tummy is getting larger. I just look like I am out of shape also. I like to buy and wear the babydoll tops. They are great for my pregnancy and I wore them before I was pregnant also. I hope that everyone else is doing well and that the spotting goes away for everyone who has had it. E586467: I wish was was experiencing an increase my s_x drive, if anything I don't want anything to do with s_x right now. My poor husband but he seems to understand.

Hi everyone! I'm Ashley! I'm new here! I'm 14 wks pregnant and due January 15th! I'm so excited!

cyndilea1973 - July 18

Hello Ashley and welcome! I hear you onthe NO s_x DRIVE tomygirl. My dh has been wanting to do the deed since we got pg, but I was afraid of mc again and good thing, doc had me on pelvic rest from 6 weeks to 12 weeks. I am 14 weeks today. YAY! I did give in to DH last night even though I was nervous about it, I mean, it's been 3 months for him..he understands, but he has been so sweet to me, I had to relieve him LOL. Now I think I will be good for another 3 months! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good afternoon everyone. I am so tired today. I dont know what is up. Does anyone else have horrible heartburn? I have it. I have started to plan for my sons 2nd birthday party. I was looking through old pictures of my son when he was a baby last night and I started to cry. They grow up way to fast.

mcbee - July 19

Well, yesterday was pretty awful. I started a new job Thursday night (it's an overnight shift). Last night, as I was getting ready for my second shift, I had a gush of fluid. Here goes the TMI... I had some discharge after I'd gotten out of the shower, so I sat down on the toilet to clean myself up. When I did, there was a gush of fluid that came out. It wasn't urine, and it was a lot more than the trickle I usually get from discharge. So, of course, I freaked out and called my doctor. He put me on immediate bed rest for the night (no working), and I had to call him at 8:00 this morning. He didn't want me to go to an ER b/c he said they just couldn't evaulate me properly, and he said I was still too early to be evaluated in L & D. Well, nothing happened overnight - no bleeding, cramping, or any more leaking. So, I am on light duty for the weekend (no work), and I have to go see him first thing Monday morning. Here I am, trying to convince my bosses (I currently work 2 jobs) that my being pregnant won't interfere at all with my work habits, and then, it does. Oh, well. My baby is more important to me than any job. Have any of you had anything similar happen? Sorry this is such a long, rambling message.

mcbee - July 19

Oh, and austynsmommy, my heartburn is horrible. I have it all the time.
