Well, I'm pretty sure I have a UTI. I've only had one before, but it pretty much feels exactly the same. I am so wanting to curl up on the couch, but I'm at work and can't do that. I tried to see if my doc would call in a prescription for me, but he said that since I'm pregnant, I have to have a urine culture done. I appreciate his thoroughness, but work is hell tonight b/c I'm in a lot of pain.

Mcbee - that sucks! I hate UTIs...I would want meds asap too. Hopefully it doesn't take too long, and you can get some meds and get over this! How is everyone else? I've been getting heartburn some, if I lay down after eating especially or if I have anything even a little spicy... I'm good...15 weeks today, and excited to be getting closer to my next appt., and my next u/s. I can find out the gender at 20 weeks...Aug. 28th. yay!! Hope everyone is doing well!

Well, I finally got on some antibiotics, and life is better today. Man, I hope those aren't a frequent issue. Question for you ladies: are any of you having problems with your feet and ankles swelling already? Mine are huge!

Hello everyone! I went to the doc. on Wed, and everything was fine. Baby's h/b was 150, and I have already gained 8 pounds! I hadn't gained anything at this point when I was preg. with my daughter. Oh well! Also, I have a lump in my right arm pit. It has been there for two years, but has gotten a little larger. My doc. is pretty certain it is nothing more than a cyst, but just in case, I am seeing a surgeon on Aug. 6, and will possibly be having it removed. Wed. night, my daughter came down witht he stomach flu. She woke up at 2 am covered in vomit..yuck. It was a long night! Then Friday night, I got it. I threw up every forty-five minutes for 12 hours straight! I thought I was going to die! However, I feel much better today. I think I will spend the day bleaching my entire house! At the next appt, they will do the triple screen and schedule the big sono..yay!

Hi ladies how are you all? I will be 17wks tomorrow. mcbee sorry to hear you have a UTI. I've heard that vitamin C & drinking cranberry juice can help. epigg glad to hear the baby is doing good, but sorry to hear about the tummy bug. Wow what a busy & stressful week this has been, with having this bad flu & worrying about the baby. I had a midwife app this morning & told her that I had felt movements around 13wks but nothing obvious for the past 2 weeks & she said it could be that the nerves in my muscles aren't as sensitive as they were for my first 2 pregnancies, & tried to tell me that it wouldn't have been the baby I was feeling at 13wks - um I think I would know being pregnant twice before. Anyway I almost burst into tears when she couldn't find the hb & just kept thinking 'I knew something was wrong'. It took about 10mins but she did finally find the hb thank god & it is a nice healthy 150. The baby is apparently very low in my pelvis & the midwife ended going back on what she said about it not being the baby I had felt & said that because s/he is low, depending on how s/he is lying could explain why I haven't felt obvious movements. I have an u/s on the 15th of august & am dying to see bubs again, especially as it took sooo long to find the hb.

Good morning, ladies! Today's been pretty good. I've had a touch of nausea, so I guess I could do without that. Other than that, no complaints! My husband and I are babysitting our nephew this week. It's so cute to see my husband interact with him (nephew is about 16 months). He's doing a great job, and I'm so proud of him!!!

Hi Mamas! Just checking in to see how everyone else is doing!E586467--I can certainly understand that you were a little miffed at your midwife questioning you on you feeling your little one moving in there! Especially since this isn't your fisrt child! I have been feeling movement since a little over 12 weeks (faint flutters at first) and have been feeling full on taps and rubs for the past 2 weeks! I have noticed that I feel the baby really moving around after lunch and dinner. And this is my first pg, so I guess I am in tune with my body to have felt this so early? I dunno, I am not a small framed person, so being tiny doesn't have anything to do with it. I am just going to enjoy every minute of it ! I go tomorrow for another u/s and I cannot wait to see this little one wigglling around in there..I had even thought about eating a little snack right before the u/s to get baby dancing in there! They said they might be able to tell what the baby is tomorrow if they get a good shot, I thought 16 wks was a little early for that, but we'll see what happens tomorrow! Take Care ladies.+++Cyndi+++

So, I'm pretty sure I felt the baby move for the first time last night. Just kind of felt like a little flutter. Can't wait to feel it again!

Hey girls! How is everyone? I'm 16 weeks tomorrow. For the last week, I think I've been feeling the baby - like flutters or bubbles after I eat, when I lay down...but, maybe I just want to feel the baby, so I'm making it up...who knows?? I'm sure I'll feel real kicks in a few weeks or so, so I'll know for sure. I can't wait!! Can't wait for my next appt. and u/s...Aug 15th and Aug 28th... Is everyone finding out the s_x? Is anyone worried that they could be wrong? I just worry that they'll tell me I'm having a girl, start calling her her name, buy pink clothes, and then voila!! A boy! I guess they are right most of teh time though, right?

LADIES----Had my u/s today...we're having a BOY!!!! It was VERY obvious that this little kicker is a boy! He was sleeping at first with his little hand on his nose, and then we riled him up to get a good look at him! I had thought they could tell at 16 weeks, and the tech said that they could tell at 15 weeks, if they got a good shot at the 'goods'. My dh was beside himself, showing everyone here at work our u/s pics (we are lucky enough to both work at the same company). Best of luck to everyone else on their upcoming u/s to find out team pink or blue! I am off to shop for lil boy things!
