My due date is jan 7th. I still dont know what I'm having. I get to find out on the 18th.

I'm due Jan 13th, this is our first and we hope to be able to find out the s_x at my ultrasound next week(Aug 12th)!

Hey Ladies! I'm due January 15th, this is our 2nd and we're waiting to be surprised. Has anyone started getting Braxton Hicks contractions yet? I had them with my first, but didn't get them until after the 6th month. I'm 16.5 weeks, and have gotten them a few times over the past several days. I heard that they normally start around 20 weeks, but tend to start earlier and are more intense in women who've already had children. I had a C-section, so perhaps my uterus wants to start practising early?!!!

Thankyou all for telling me again what your edd are, I wonder if any of us will have our babies on the same day? I usually go over so it will be such a surprise if bubs comes on the edd or earlier. babeedust2all I have been having very strong braxton hicks for some weeks now too & I am 18wks tomorrow. My midwife said it's normal for subsequent babies & said not to be concerned unless they become regular or you have spotting/bleeding.

I don't think I've been having any Braxton Hicks contractions. Of course, I wouldn't know if I was!

Congrats MCBEE on the news of haivng a baby boy!!! E5 and BABEEDUST--That is really exciting for you to wait until delivery to find out what you are having..I am a very impatient person and also an organizing freak, so I wanted to find out now so I could get the nursery all set up! KIMMER--Thanks for the rea__surance that my little man was TOO big for 16 weeks! I am sure if my boy was gargantuan the doc would've said something LOL. My EDD is Jan 17th, and this is my first. I haven't had any braxton hicks yet (are they like cramps or pressure? if so, then I haven't had any of that yet). I have been having a hard time getting comfy to sleep. I like to be on my back, but the baby books say to start lying on your side at 16 weeks to help blood flow, so I am constantly flipping side to side all night! I need to by a body pillow to prop up on my side so I will stay put. My tummy is REALLY out there..dh loves to rub it and talk to Kellen..it is SO sweet!

Does anyone have any suggestions on a little girls name that starts with the letter "A". My daughter name is Alexis and we would like to choose a girls name that begins with an "a" also for this little one. We have choosen the name Dylan Robert for a boy already. Hi ladies. I went to see the surgeon about the lump in my arm pit. He a__sured me that it is nothing more that a fatty deposit and that I have no need to worry. He felt that I could have it removed if it bugged me, but that it is of no harm to my health,,,whoo, what a relief! I have been feeling that baby move a bit, but not more than once or twice a day. I didn't feel much movement with my first until about 18 weeks, so I am not too worried yet. Next ob appt. is on the 19th and we will schedule the big sono for soon after that. I really feel that this baby is a boy, but who knows! Oh, and I am due on the 21st. We have decided on either Anderson Cooper, or Anderson Carter for a boy, and no clue for a girl. So, ladies if this baby is a girl I am going to need some help!!!

epigg I am SO glad the lump turned out to be nothing. I can't even imagine how scared you must have been waiting to find out for sure. My mother-in-law went through something similar recently, a lump that had been in her b___st for years suddenly got bigger & she even started getting stabbing pain in that b___st. After having it biopsied it turned out to be a hormonal lump of tissue that had gotten bigger due to her starting menopause. Poor thing was terrified during the weeks of waiting, because there is b___st cancer on her mums side of the family.

TomyGirl-I am also due January 6th and finding out on the 20th as well. Now that's a coincidence. Lol. Good luck with choosing names I always liked Abby but everyone found it to be too old fashioned so that name was scratched. Lol. 18w2d now and my hay fever won't go away, munchkin been moving and kicking and its so cute. Hope everyone is well.

Good morning ladies. epigg I am glad that the lump turned out to be nothing serious. I went to the doctor yesterday and the doctor changed my due date to the 5th and he said that they will try and induce me because I have fast labors. My daughter I was in labor for 5 hours and my son 2 hours. Hope everyone is doing great. Amanda

Hi ladies how is everyone? Today was a pretty c___ppy day as dd was sent home from daycare because they found head lice on her. Turns out a little boy from her room got sent home with them about 2wks ago & they didn't bother telling the other parents as they were hoping it was an isolated case. Well I went to the chemist to get some treatment but they wouldn't sell it to me as I'm pregnant but would sell me the special lice come & told me how to make a natural home remedy. So I bought some cheap conditioner, pure tea tree oil & pure eucalyptus oil to make up my own treatment. Well the strong smells gave me a really bad headache, so I had some panadol & took a nap when the kids did, then I almost slept too long to make my dental appointment. I had a 1st stage root ca___l (wasn't too bad), only too find out that before they can do the 3rd stage they need to do x-rays, which I can't have til bubs is born (they could have told me this BEFORE we started or on the phone when I mentioned that I was pregnant). So I'm pretty p__sed off about the whole day, for the next 3wks (so they tell me) I have to put this strong stuff in everyone's hair & wash all bedding, towels, etc every 3days (like I didn't have enough washing) & now I have to keep going back to the dentist every 3-4wks to get my tooth repacked as they can't finish the root ca___l without the x-rays. Sorry to complain so much I'm just having one of those days.
