We are doing great! I think my belly is growing, it sure feels like it. My weekend was great. I got to hang out with my family, we had a lot of fun. I'm sure everything is fine with your belly, I'm not sure what the growth is supposed to be either. Atleast you don't have to wait long to make sure everything is okay. I think that after hearing the heartbeat my mind is totally at ease. I am excited for more to come, and I can't wait until Halloween to find out what we are having!! The dogs are good, my hubby's little sister watched them while we are out of town. How was your weekend?

my weekend was fine, nothing really special about it. did you do any baby shoping yet? or did you revieve any baby gifts? my mother in law was traveling and she got us two outfits one for a girl and one for a boy, i just have to wait and see which one i'll be using. do you have any feeling at all to what the s_x of the baby might be i mean your inner feeling not any thing realted to the wives tales and so on, i dont know but i inner gut just keeps telling me boy all the time, id be surprised if its not just because i have feeling that seems so real, then again i'll be thrilled if its a girl but its just this feeling that keeps saying boy i dont know why, do you get that at all?

I really have no feeling as to what it is going to be, I am hoping for one or the other like I've said. My sister got a little shirt for the baby, unis_x, so it will work for either. I get what you are saying though. I feel girl, but i would be happy with a boy. I am feeling some fluttering though!!! Last night when I was sleeping I had the worst stretch in my stomach!! My hubby touched it on accident to get closer to me, and I almost ripped his head off. I'm sure it is a good sign that the baby is growing though!!! What time is your appt tomorrow?

my appt tomorrow is at 5pm here so that would be like what 11am or 12pm in your time zone, if i get home immediatly after the appt i'll log in immediatly and tell you how it went, wish me luck tomorrow. i think that i feel some fluttering too but no stretching at all maybe not every one feels it ill find out tomrrow the answer to all my questions hopefully! but its definetly a good sign for you.

Hi courtney sorry couldn't log in any sooner but the appt went well and the doc said that every thing was looking good and right on schdule, he said that the baby is looking like a girl! yeey but that he wasnt totaly sure and that he would have to confirm it next time. im thrilled but dont know how accurate he is, i mean deep down i still feel boy but the idea that it is probably a girl also just sikes me i mean just labeling the baby as probably something makes it soooo real its unbeliveable, my next appt will be on the 28th of October where he will confirm the s_x. this is such a miraclous time wouldnt you agree? still no shopping for me though i have 3 more weeks of waiting till the s_x is confirmed then there will be no stopping me!

WOO HOO! I am so happy for you! I'm sure that it will be re-confirmed at your next appt. I have heard when you do it this early, it is hard to tell sometimes because the parts are still swollen from developing and that it is better to wait till later. My dr won't even look until about 20 weeks. So you are going to get a double check before I get my first!! I'm so jealous! In a good way though. I have my countdown and it is now 23 days till we find out!! Did you tell your family? What did they think?

yeh i too think that it was a bit too early and that your situation is much better when you'll get your definite answer all at once it saves you weeks of wondering! like what im doing now. i didnt tell my family anything we just said the doc couldnt tell and that he said he will tell us next time, the problem is that as soon as my hubby's family hears girl they will start to call her by my mother's in law name which i HATE and will never consider so i thought i should wait till its confirmed before i start dealing with all their annoying and frustrating comments especially when i say that we've chosen Jude for a girls name and not his mothers. i find myself getting very easily irrtated now a days and every thing gets on my nerves.

Why would they call it your mother in law's name?!?!?! They are a__suming that's the name you are going to use? That's not right. When I call to tell them for real I would say 'we are having a girl and her name will be...' that way there is no confusion! Have you set yourself on a girl's name yet?

yes exactly they a__sume that all has to be about them and what they want can you believe how frustrating that is. but your right when we are sure that its a girl ill tell them we are have Jude, which is the name we chose so that they can shut up and swollow their tongues.

You tell em!!! It is you and your hubby's baby, not theirs, it's their grandchild, not child. Stick up for yourself. I want to rip my sis-in-law a new one but she is kinda crazy, so it won't help. She is already b___hing about how my shower is going to be better than hers, and that she had to buy her own shower invitations and I prolly won't have to. She is 30 years old and already has a kid!!!! Get over yourself is what I want to say!!! Grow the f up!!! Atleast you don't have to deal with someone comparing you to them all the time. I know how sucky in laws can be. We have eachother to vent about it, so screw them!!

yeh your right i will definelty stand up for myself my husband is kinda weak when it comes to his family which makes the situation even worse and more frustrating for me cause i know that i will have to stand up on my own which is ok with me not problem i've been doing it most of my life anyways. how are you doing and when will you have your shower?

I am doing well. Having kind of a blah day. Just want to be home curled up in bed. I'm sure it is the hormones, but nothing seems to be going my way today. I am not sure when my shower will be. Probably late January early February I would think. They usually say 2months before or sooner. Do you know when you are having yours?

oh i wish that it worked here like it does in the states but unfortuntaly here things happen differently, we recieve gifts after the baby is born people bring thier gifts as thery come and see the baby and to offer there congratulations, but we do have a lot of places where we can register baby lists and we tell people so that before they come and visit they go and buy their gifts from there. im sorry your having a bad day, your right it probably cause of the hormones they work in mysterious ways, you finish at 5pm dont you, so you have only like a couple of hours to go dont worry they pa__s smoothly, you can sit and day dream about the baby thats always fun, did you tell any one at work that your pregnant yet?

I told my bosses as soon as I found out, then the news trickled to my co-workers. I am sure it is the hormones too. I just feel like a good cry. I'm sure if I cried I would feel much better, but i can't for another 2 1/2 hours...that's when I get out of work. It will be fine, I'll be another person tomorrow! Have a good night and I'll catch you tomorrow!
