Misty, normally Short Term disability is something you elect to have that comes out of your pay (like health insurance) If you pay into it, it will cover certain things, like pregnancy, unexpected illness that lasts longer then a week (could be stress related, migranes, surgery of some sort....ect...) You should look into what the state offers, as CA has a manatory state disability that you pay into, unless you choose your employers plan, others states don't. Washington has the best Maternity plan that Ive heard about.....they get lots of time off :) There's always FLOA which is family leave, which is not paid, but still an option so that you have a job to come back to. I work in HR for my company so a lot of what I know is based on company specifics...but hopefully this helps :)

Aww thanks you guys. It helps to know I can vent. I hear you with the emotional thing. The one time I remember the most, was I had just had some oatmeal and felt awesome so I went to take a shower and got my make up all done and my hair all cute and ready for work, then I felt it...I had to litterally run to the bathroom mowing over my bf in the process and just urfed for like 20 minutes. My make up was running down my face and from urfing and sweating my hair was all messed up and I just sat there next to the toilet and cried. It was the worst feeling. I take that back...puking in the parking lot this morning was worse...but that one was pretty bad. Andie, havent seen you around these parts...welcome!

OMG I got into my bathingsuit because me and bf were going down the the pool at the new apartment...yeah...it was a sad sad day. I wanted to curl up (If there is such a thing when youre such a pudgy tank a__s) and go to bed...it sucked...I cried....bf laughed....sigh..nice...

ewww - did I start the belly b___ton thing - i did didn't I - I am so disgusting - sorry about that - ok, you can gross me out all you want from here on out... as for the bathing suit thing - i guess we're still getting used to the changes... i was getting ready to go out for a friend's birthday this weekend and NOTHING fit - i look like a complete whore in my usual nice outfits because my b___bs are the size of small planets and i kept my jacket on the whole time, which didn't help because it was a fitted leather jacket that wouldn't zip over said planets - therefore oozing them out even further - talk about unattractive... i wore sweats today - that's right, sweats.

Nope still here unfortunatly. I am trying to clear all of my paper work so no one can say anything if I leve early or dont come in tomarrow. So take that boss! My sister just gave me a recipe for brownies and its the only thing that has really sounded good all day. Damn it....that means I have to bake...yeah I will just go buy some instant c___p. Oh man...not trying to get gross again but do not...I repeat....DO NOT eat califlower (sp?) the night before tou have to work expecially when youre pregnant. Eww man....Dont feel bad rb, I wore some old lady stretch pants. I always wanted bigger b___bs but this was totally beyond what I was asking! I tried wearing one of my cute and stretchy tanks tops and It wasnt happenin. First I pulled it up because my b___bs were sayin hey, then looked down and my belly was like woah...there was a breeze. So needless to say that tank top is out for a little bit,.

try having implants AND having your b___bs grow... i feel like each are the size of my head - didn't think about this did I pre-surgery? - again, S-M-R-T!

yeah - we're expected to have sun all week and i'm lovin' life - except the work part - that sucks - staring out my office window at the beautiful day - i changed my hours tho - so i'm usually gone at 2'ish - just got back from taking my one dog to the park and now i'm cleaning - i have energy to clean! (finally) - i was starting to feel like i was living in a barn - but we're moving soon to a bigger place, so more cleaning - wish i could win the lottery - then i would hire a cleaner, a driver, ... and a gardener - one that looks like Jesse Metcalfe from desperate housewives... hehhe - i told hubby that and he said fat chance... oh well, a girls gotta try :) jk!

oh yeah..and a cook too.......tired of cooking and it feels like i'm always cooking and in thne grocery store........lol.......whens the big move? i'm moving in july ....in witrh bf, then we're gonna go from there.....hes in his mortage til dec.......o boy moving at 6 months pregnant in july in the okanagan....i'm nuts.......
