Yeah well, I am barely feeling mine, even when I am lying down. I don't know why, but it is very depressing for me. Then my sister made the comment today about how little I am showing. I am about 20 minutes away from the hospital at home and 5 minutes at work. Needless to say, I am working till the end. There is NO WAY I am leaving myself alone the last probably 3 weeks. Kara, what are you having woman?!

Hey girls. Well, it's official. I'm having a boy! He's healthy and normal from what i can tell, but i feel a bit flat. I'm happy it's a boy, I thought it was, but i was soooo looking forward to the scan, and it just seemed an anticlimax. The technician doing the scan was horrible. She wouldn't let us video a little bit of it for our grandparents, and she didn't communicate anything much. She wasn't even going to check the s_x, she'd packed everything away when i said is it a boy or a girl, and she said oh ok with a sigh and had a look for about 30 seconds than said it's a boy and packed up and that was it! She didn't point anything out to me in the picture, she was just really dampening, and i was so depressed! I'm just having a bad day. Then I went to the shoe shop to buy my hubby a pair of sneakers and i saw a really comfy pair of leather shoes for 39$ but he said we couldn't afford them this week, and i just about burst into tears! Pathetic i know! I don't know what's wrong with me.

Oh well. Pregnancy blues i guess. Maybe i'll feel cheerier tomorrow. I really wanted to know how much he's grown since my 12 week scan, how long he is, but i didn't even find that out. The technician's manner just really took the joy out of it. :-( Then on top of all that, I was supposed to go back and pick up the results and film,and i was going to have a look at the report to the doctor which might have told me all those details, and i forgot. So my husband was going to on the way home from work but he forgot. So i didn't get them, and now I'll have to wait 2 weeks til my next doctors app't. Noooo! sigh. well I just drowned my sorrows in a large bowl of banana and icecream. Maybe i should just go to bed. talk to you all tomorrow.

Well, Kara, that is horrible about your u/s tech. I would definitely complain. There is no reason they shouldn't communicate with you throughout the process. That is really strange they wouldn't let you video tape it either. Anyways, that is kinda ironic about the shoes. My hubby has a hole in the bottom of his work shoes and we went to buy more and they were $40, which we absolutely can not afford. Well, last night my daughter threw up all over them, so now we kinda have to figure something out! Congratulations on the baby boy!

Good Morning Everybody!!! Kara...Congrats on having a boy, that is exciting, sorry to hear that the tech wasn't very helpful, that sucks when you are so excited and they ruin it. We started the baby' room last night, got everything moved out and started to crackfill the walls and paint the ceiling. I am getting excited now.

I live in Queensland, that's the east coast, a bit inland though. Well, sorry to be a party pooper, seeing as you all just got here, but i'm all done in. oops hit send to quick. ..I am SSOOO tired today :0(, besides the normal tossing and turning looking for a good position I now have to sleep with my left leg completely straight for two weeks, I had a dr apt yesterday and I had a bump of some sort on my knee and they removed it and now I have st_tches right on the crease of me knee, bending it to much will pop the st_tches, haa haa. I finally found a good comfortable position and fell asleep when my fiance came home from work after midnight and wanted to cuddle, which already is uncomfortable when I am restless anyhow AND he sleeps on my side of the bed with me, I have no turning room . ..I almost took the day off and stayed home and slept, haa haa, but I have a ton of homework to catch up on and he has off today so I would have ended up running around with him all day!
