Les- I am praying for you. That must be so difficult to deal with. Even though bed rest could be hard, it will be worth it in the end.

Hey Les, praying for you!! I just wanted to let you know that these hard pregnancies can turn out well. My mom went into labour at 5 months with my littlest sister (pregnancy #5) and was on bed rest until 36 weeks when she gave birth. My sister is 14 (almost 15) now and totally good in every way! Keep off your feet and stay relaxed - if possible - and we'll be praying hard for you!

QUESTION]]]]]]] have any of you or are any of you ladies having any pain and cramping in your left side? I am 27 weeks and I have been having this same pain/cramping on the left side since sat morning. I called my on call nurse yesterday and she told me to go to the er. so i went well it was a different er closer to my house and they put me on a monitor to listen to Noelles heartbeat. they got some urine. i was there all of 2 hours and she told me that everything looked fine. But I am still having the same pain. I mean it keeps me up all night, it hurts when i walk, even when i do take tylenol i can not sleep. I had been drinking more water and cranberry juice to make sure that i was not dehyrdated or anything, but she said i might be constipated. UMM i doubt that I have a good bm at least 3 to 4 times a day. she checked my cervix, closed, thick and high she said. I did not even see a doc only a nurse. I dont know what to do I am in so much pain. I go in to see my regular ob on Monday the 3rd, i will see if i can hold off on going back to the er until after i see him.

so today is 27 weeks for me... did we ever figure out when the third trimested starts? I think i might go over and take a look maybe even leave a message. so how are all the mommies doing today?

I'm doing good, a little tired though, was up until 2am. Anyway, I thought the 3rd tri Started at 27 weeks also but then I just read this BabyCenter uses 28 weeks as the beginning of the 3rd trimester. This is also the point where a preterm birth chance of survival goes to 90%! So I guess its like 27-28 weeks. Maybe we should move to the 3rd tri area soon

Yeah i think it is 28 weeks also. I just checked on one of the other boards and it said that I have 13 weeks left and I am 27 weeks today. So i think that i migh pop in and see what the ladies are up to on the third tri board. You know just to say hi since I will be joining them next week. Good to hear that ll is going well

Thanks for the support ladies. I appreciate your stories and well wishes. Munch, what were you on bedrest for 3 months for? I don't know how you did it. It's been a week for me and I am going crazy. I had a doctors appt today and was so happy to be outside. My ultrasound today showed little change in my cervical length, except now it is getting shorter with pressure so that's not too good. I am also a little more dilated, almost 2 cm. They tell me there is nothing they can do for me, so I guess I just wait and see how long my little man will wait. I am 27 weeks tomorrow and due October 30th so I guess we will all be moving over to third trimester board. See you all there!

Well I was on bedrest bc I was having early contractions and they had given me the shot to stop the contractions, but it was not helping. I was also dealing with alot of stress, so he told me to take it easy.
