Bumblebee - April 28

DiGIA - Sorry to hear of the twin loss. We also had the same told to us at the 12 week u/s just when I had decided to start accepting the twins scenario. It was tough, had no symptoms, and none still. And of course, we are happy that the other one is doing well and strong h/b, and we look forward to each month's u/s. Wunder - I am the same way - get so anxious night before and morning of. Told dh, feels like I am going to take a "test". :) Glad to hear others go thru it too. This is our first also - after 2 m/c's over past 3 yrs. Mama - Hope your new job is going well. And you can get away w/o them knowing till you are ready.

Oh, missed the whole page 3. :) Munch - Glad you are getting some good soft loving. he he. good for you. Sbea - good luck w/ the move. Which stroller did you go with? What to look for in getting this? It is an expensive buy! MNMom - I am planning to find out next week - it will be 18 weeks and am a__suming the u/s will show the s_x by now. I think I want to know mainly because I talk to the baby a lot and address it as a girl at times or a boy and my mind goes all confused what I am saying. LOL. It is ridiculous I know, but feel if I know the s_x, at least I will be more directional in how I talk. Oh, and when I see baby clothes at stores, and see some super cute girl clothes, and then feel guilty as to what if it's a boy - so then I start looking at the boy clothes. I really feel like a mess at those times!!! LOL.

bumblebee-I totally get where you are at with wanting to know the gender, it seems especially important with first-time moms. This is our 3rd and our last, so it seems like a surprise is a nice way to go. Of course, that doesn't mean that I don't and won't continue to drive myself nuts wondering what I am having!!!

les706 - April 29

We are planning on finding out the gender as soon as we can. I am getting ultrasounds every other week until 26 weeks so we'll have plenty of opportunity to find out. At first my husband said he wanted it to be a surprise, but now he seems excited to find out! I just really want to know because I am a planner...I want the room and furniture and everything set up perfect and I don't want everything yellow and green. Plus I am just too curious! I think it will be fun if everyone says what they think they are having, and find out if you are right. I think I am having a boy.

I think that I am having a girl. Well mabe I dont know bc this pregnancy is just like my first 5 years ago. NO morning sickness, just really sleepy. Bu we are all wishing for a girl. Eveyone knows that it really dont matter, a happy healthy baby is all that matters.

bumblebee - I post on the other boards since I am still in my 1st trimester and I am due in November but I read your post and I have to ask you a question: You said that you lost a twin at 12 weeks - had you heard both of their heartbeats prior to that? I am SO sorry to hear of your loss.

CgGirl - April 29

Hello ladies! I popped in a few weeks back, but went back to work (was on mat leave) and it's been a little frantic since then. I saw my OB 2 weeks ago and with contradicting due dates with different u/s (only 5 days difference) she declared that my official due date is now Oct. 10th (right in the middle of both!) LOL. We have our next u/s on May 15th and we should know the s_x then. We can't wait! I kinda popped in the last week... felt a few things yesterday but not sure it was the baby or gas! LOL! So I'll be 17 weeks on Saturday. Time is certainly flying! I hope everyone is doing well!

les706 - April 30

I saw my OB yesterday. Heartbeat is 150bpm. And they checked my cervix for the first time and so far so good! I go for my ultrasound next Thursday. I'll be just shy of 15 weeks then. I can't wait! It seems like forever since I've seen the baby.

munchmom04 - May 4

hey ladies how are things going? I hope that ll is well with each of you and your little ones. Well we went back to the doc today. All is well with this little one. I was thinking that we were going to get another sono bc they had me undress from the waist down. But to my suprise.... all he did was listen to the heartbeat and ask some questions. Bull... I was so mad. But we did get good news the baby sounds good and we scheduled our gender scan on the 8th of June. Man I can not wait. Everyone keeps saying that it is a GIRL, but you know you dont know unless you have the gender scan. Have anyone found out what they are having yet?

Hey all, sounds like everyone is doing pretty good, which is great! My ultrasound is on Wednesday and we're supposed to find out the gender then...but, of course, I'm more nervous than I am excited! I can't wait to be able to feel this little one move (or at least KNOW that it's the baby moving and not guessing!) cuz when it's been a month since you've heard a heartbeat or anything, your mind starts to wonder and worry! I just hope the little one is ok...DH is the type that never worries about anything and I worry about everything! It can be very frustrating when you're looking for comfort and all you get is nonchalant, "you're overreacting, everything is fine"....sorry for the venting! Just nervous, I guess :)

MNMOM - May 5

Hi girls, I am right there with all of you - worring constantly and wondering if everything is ok with my little bean inside! I don't go in until next wk Tues and by then it will be 5 weeks since I was seen. I can't feel any movement yet, I am so anxious to know everything is ok! Oh and I think I am having a girl this time. But that is just today, tomorrow I am sure I will be back to thinking it is a boy!

MNMOM - May 5

oh and we still aren't even close to having a name picked out....just not a hot priority right now I guess with so much time still to go!!

wunder75 - May 5

MNMOM and Melay86 - I too have an appointment coming up. Next Wednesday, another ultrasound and we get to find out the gender! Yay. This is goiung to be a long week, and the pre-appointment worrying has already started for me. How are y'all all doing on weight? I'm starting to get worried because I really haven't gained much. I know that's a good thing as long as it's enough for the baby, and the doc didn't seem worried at the last appointment a couple weeks ago. I'm 18w4d and definitely showing, but it's just all in my belly. I know, I know, I shouldn't be complaining, but I just worry. And I thought I'd be a laid-back mommy. Ha!

Hey all...my doctor's appt and ultrasound went well and we're having a baby boy!! Ethan David it will be! Both of our families are very excited and will probably start going crazy buying clothes and the like! I'm so glad lil Ethan looked ok...of course, since 9-10 lbs babies run in my family, he's already big for his age! :)

melay86 - May 6

Oh and wunder, I've actually lost 5lbs since becoming pregnant...the doctor didn't seem too worried yet but we'll see! I find it funny that this is the first time in my life I've gone to the doctor and have lost weight!!

Hey guys...I have seen this board a couple of times, but am usually on the IVF board in the infertility section. I didn't want to join during the 1st-tri because I didn't want to jinx us :o) Our story: Due Oct 20 w/ twins...we find out what they are on May 21! We will have a planned c at the end of Sep or beginning of Oct due to a sx I had last year. They removed 3 fibroids and a ton of endo (8hrs in sx), and no matter how long I heal for, my uterus cannot take full labor. I'm 32 and DH is 36. We live in Ft. Worth. I have Stage IV Endo, so basically permanently blocked (cuz of scars) tubes. IVF was our only option and luckily it worked :o) I am 16wks 1 day today! I know some of you ladies from the infertility forum, so it's nice to see familiar faces!!! Good luck ladies and look forward to y'all accepting me on here :o)
