That's great that your mom is all for it! That sounds like a "lie" my mom would tell my dad...hehe. DH would be like, yeah whatever...lol. So, your DH doesn't get to go and do the registry with you? We found some stuff at Burlington we liked, but also at Babies-R-Us. We are doing a baby jungle animal theme and we are going to mix-n-match stuff. Burlington is a lot cheaper though too on the same items. I found more on their website than in the store. Shipping is a bit high I thought, but maybe that was me. We are going to register at Babies-R-Us and somewhere else but not sure yet.

I know I hate to lie to him, but he would have a cow if he knew that i was going. I want him to go but he will be driving to Tyler tomorrow so he wont be able to go if he wanted to. I was so suprised my mom was so cool about it. She was like make sure that i am the first person that you call & let know what the baby is. Even though she siad its a girl i still want you to call. I am not going to call anyone. I am going to suprise her and what ever the baby is, like if its a boy i am going to go out and get a PINK gift bag with PINK tissue paper and then put a little blue outfit or something in the bottom. How cute and funny hun?
No not this one. i think that i am going to do the one at Burlington on my own (hubby dont like to shop & he will get bored and will be ready to go before i am half way done). I think that we are going to do another one at Walmart for all the family that lives out of town and that are on a budget. He will go with me for that one, even though most will be done online. How cute the jungle theme is cute too.

Hello everyone. I just found out that I am having a boy. I'm due October 8.

Hey everyone. So sorry I haven't been around for a while. I have been busy trying to get my house set up and we went on vacation. So much has happened.
First, I have news about my anmio. Everything looks good! Phew. That was stressful.
Second, My due date is now Sept 29. I think I will go over but we will see. I am not 22w4d. I can't believe we are half way!
Oh and I have a bladder infection. I guess I have been fighting it for a while but alot of the symptoms mimic pregnancy. I didn't have any burning, i just looked down last night and Blood. not a little bit, my urine was RED. I was slightly alarmed. It was jut so sudden as I went to the bathroom 20 minutes before and clear and then bang, red. But I wen to emerg (as a small community doesn't have walk-in clinics open past 6 pm). I must admit I felt silly t the hospital for a bladder infection.
Well I am pretty worn out right now. I had lots of back pain last night and didn't sleep really at all. I know I have read all the posts but I will try again today to catch up.
I really hope all of you are well.

bumblebee - wow, you're amazing! I really want to take prenatal yoga too. I hear it's great for relaxation and back pain. How do you like it?
sbea - I would be in emerg right away, too! Don't feel bad. Better overly-cautious JUST in case.
blueeyedgirl - Congrats! Have you started buying any clothes or anything yet? How about names...any ideas?
munchmom - lol Can't wait to hear what your having. Happy Anniversary! Me and my husband celebrate our 1st year Sunday!
3rdtimemommy - Congrats on the boy! Everyone seems to be having a boy, right now!
Mnmom - I'm considering NOT finding out as well, now. I think if I don't I'll be dying to know by the end! Did you find out for your first 2 pregnancies?
So, we came across a crib at a garage sale for an amazing price and I just HAD to buy it. Now we have a crib, an high chair (also a yard sale buy last Saturday), a ba__sinet AND....we purchased our first set of cloth diapers. I am having a hard time not buying more stuff since I still have such a long way to go.
Although I'm into maternity clothes, I still barely look pregnant. People look at me when I tell them and are like, "Are you sure you didn't just eat a really big spaghetti dinner?" :( I'm almost halfway there! That's a little frustrating. I know it will come, eventually.
I'll let you guys know how the ultrasound goes (scheduled June 4th).
Thanks for sharing everyone!

Oh my, I can't believe how many boys there are going to be on this forum. DH and I had a chance to find out the s_x of the baby for 100% because of the anmio May 1st, but I declined much to his disappointment. However here where we live they don't tell you the s_x of the baby. I don't really know why, I think some of it has to do with making sure there aren't abortions because of the s_x. Which makes sense, since in canada we are very anti-discrimination. However I am sure we are having a boy. It sounds crazy I am sure. But it doesn't feel right or make sense to look at girl things or call the little peanut a she. I automatically call peanut a he. So in about 18 weeks I will find out if I am right.
Well I am crashing again. So tired. Tomorrow I should be feeling better, but then again i am on a weak antibiotic as it is really the only safe one during pregnancy. So they would give anyone else who isn't pregnant a 3 day cycle of anti-biotics, but i am on 7 days. blah!
Well I will keep in contact.

Hi everyone - Munchmom, where ar you? We are all waiting to hear about the big ultrasound!
DiGiacomo-We did not find out the gender with baby #1. With #2 we did - for some reason it was really really important to me that time. Having done it both ways, I have to say I honestly perfer the surprise, there is nothing sweeter. That doesn't mean that it doesn't drive me crazy wondering - it does! But it is so worth it to have that one last thing to focus on during the end of labor! :)
I am still not feeling the baby move consistantly - this worries me tremendously!
Hope you are all feeling well!

Hello everyone, hope everyone is feeling great!
sbea- I'm a__suming you are from Canada, I'm in southern Ontario:) The ultrasound tech here just asked me right away if I wanted to know the s_x... she even checked that for me before she finished the rest of the anatomy scan. Which was all good as well! :) Baby looked like he had really long toes, the lady even commented on that! lol I do have very long toes as well tho! lol
well, I'm glad everyone looks like they are doing well and keeping healthy

It is funny how many of us are having boys, me included! I am having a bit of trouble with a name though. My husband is stuck on Trent...I like that name, it just doesn't "click" for me yet. I hope it will seeing as how he loves it so much! If we go with Trent we are thinking Alexander for a middle name. Today I asked him if we went with Trent for a first name could I pick the middle name. I like Edward...he just laughed, I think that is out. LOL! I must be old fashioned or something, I like Edward for a first name, and Henry...hehehe! Is anyone here having a girl? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for names?
This week marks 23 weeks for me! That means only 2 more weeks until I join the 3rd trimester forum! WOW, I can't believe how fast that happened. Where did the time go? I hope to see all of you over there too!! I love reading your posts and keeping up on how everyone is doing.

3rdtimemommy, I just moved from Alberta and well, they tell you the s_x there too at the ultrasound. In BC they don't. I think you can pay to have it done. I just don't know why they don't do it here.
Di- When are you due again? I am almost 23 weeks now too. So I am right behind you. That is scary that we are almost in the home stretch. I can't think of that right now. Causes panic for me.
Well I am feeling much better now that I am almost done my course of Antibiotics. That is a relief. Well I am waiting for the chance to have my DH feel the baby. But he always misses it. I think he would really enjoy it.
Well I hope everyone is well!

sbea- I am officially due October 1st. Just barely making into this forum lol! I say officially because we had our u/s on May 19th and our midwife confirmed that date! When are you due? Also, do you know what you are having? I understand how thinking of being closer and closer can cause panic. I am no longer working and I find it incredibly difficult to get ready for this baby, even with all of this time I have now. There is so much to do and so little time to do it in! I find there is always more and more on my mind. We still need a crib, dresser and so much more! I am trying to wait for my baby shower to buy more things though. DH is starting to realize how much babies cost...and that sends him into a panic LOL!!! I am trying to talk my mom into having the baby shower earlier rather then later, that way we can set up and be as ready as possible for his arrival. Also so if there is anything else we need after that, I will still be sort of comfortable to go get it! She seems to be set on having it in late august or early september. I pleaded with her to please have it in august, I suppose we will see.
