Placenta Grade

i am 16 weeks pregnant and my ultrasound shows posterior placenta , grade =0.Can anybody tell me what this exactly mean?

That identifies the location of your placenta. Posterior (back of uterus) is a good position, I think, and you only need to be worried if your placenta is covering your cervix. Mine is anterior (front) and also covering my placenta (ventral). This is a condition which is referred to as placenta previa. I believe positions anterior, posterior, and dorsal are good and the only one of concern is ventral.

I meant mine is covering my cervix (ventral position).
