im 23wks pregnant, and iv had high blood pressure since 8wks. over the last few weeks iv had a high protien levels, high blood pressure, felt faint, swollen hands and face and at the moment they are doing a further test on me coz my sugar levels arnt right at all so they are thinking diabetes... im been told to have bed rest and they i have a nurse come out to me at home to monitor me... they say im in a high risk of developing pre eclampsia. my mum had high blood pressure and i fall into all the catagories of symptoms... even though im being kept a eye on, at 23wks what out come will i have, have any women been in my position? what was the out come? did you have a healthy baby, that was due on time? did you have a normal birth? please help, i need to know im not the only one who this is happening to.
