I dont know if it is normal but i am exactly the same. 4 months 2 weeks and got really bad period like pains in my very lower abdomen. I'm thinking it may be just stretching of the uterus but i am a little worried it could be something bad. anyone got any ideas?

It is normal, because it happned to me too, it feels like a kind of stretching and sometimes a bit of pain. It's a strange feeling like your stomach is stretching leangth wise. I'm 23weeks preg now and lately the baby must have slowed down growing because my appet_te has decreased considerably and I'm not getting those odd stretching feelings at the moment. But I hear later on they grow by leaps and bounds.

As far as i am concerned pains are normal since your uterus is stretching you might get them often. it could be a problem if they last too long they should only last between 1 or 2 min.
