Stomach Tightening In The Morning Normal

I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Lately i\'ve been waking up flat on my back, and the second i wake, my stomach tightens. Could it have to do with my placenta being low? or is it something I should be worried about? I only visit my doctor in 3 weeks.

Hey I am preg with my 5th baby but have been really nervous this pregnancy cos my son was born at 33 weks with lots of abnormalities then died when he was 7.5 mths old so every little twinge i have been geeting it checked out. Last week I started having tightenings (I'm 23 weeks too ) It is normal to get tightenings in pregnancy but I couldn't remember if I got them this early on with my others. I got checked at the hospital and turned out I had a mild water infection but the doc also said that it can be normal to get them early on as long as they are not regular or painful,
