When Do You Start Getting BH Contractions

Just wondering if anyone knows when its normal to have braxton hicks contractions? I noticed Ill get a cramp or a tight feeling and my uterus is rock hard, then it passes and softens up. Just wondering if this is normal? I dont remember with my other babies. Im 15wks..I thought they didnt start till you were in your third trimester.

I have gotten them with this pregnancy (my third) and I am 16 weeks. Usually it has been because I was trying to do to much. I actually had to take Monday off work because I was having them. I had overdone it on the weekend.

Remember, if you are feeling crampy it could also be because your uterus is growing. So I wouldn't worry about it unless the cramps get really bad or you start bleeding. Good luck.

I started getting them about 2 weeks ago at 24 weeks, my Dr. Said their normal as long as they don't become regular and/or significantly more intense. He said it was normal to have up to 10 a day, I'm only have 1-2 every 1-2 days
