Varina Ballerina - November 1

Hi - i've actually ran out of places to turn to for advice. So i'm hoping a forum can help me find out whether i'm alone in this situation or has anyone ever experienced this : i gave birth to my son 3 years ago. it was a va___al birth, but my son had to be vacuumed out. i also had episiotomy as a result. the birthing was relatively pain free as i had epidural, but recovery was very hard for me. i had postpartum blues, where i would cry every evening for the next 2 weeks. my girly bits still felt tender even after 60 days postpartum. it took a long time for me to even feel like having s_x again, and when we did try we found out that my husband was unable to penetrate me. this didn't really bother us much because between juggling a baby, a demanding job, and housework, we were both pretty exhausted. our baby also woke up regularly at night for feedings for the next 2 years. now my baby is 3 and starting to be independent. my husband and i feel that we should try again for another baby. problem is, i can't seem to get him inside me. :( we've used lubricants, foreplay, etc. i even tried taking pain killers before s_x in hopes that it would numb the pain. it didn't work. i was a virgin when we got married and it took us a few attempts before he could finally penetrate me - but it was never as painful. i don't know what to do. i want to get pregnant, but if i can't seem to get my husband inside me, what are my chances? :(

Grandpa Viv - November 3

Where blood can come out, sperm can get in. Could the v____al walls have got torn at birth, and happened to knit together? For normal s_x to resume you will probably need minor surgery. GL!
