Hey folks! Hopefully, someone can help shed some light on this situation. Anyway, I'm a man and live and have a great job in Chicago. I went to Kentucky for Easter with my family. While I was there, I met up with a girl who I dated years ago. We hung out and ended up having s_x on in the wee hours of Monday morning on the 24th. It was unprotected s_x but I ejaculated outside of her va___a.
After that, we went back to her place (which I discovered was dilapidated, gross, and generally unkempt. She had two kids that I didn't know about and when we got there, she was smoking up a storm and cursing at the kids and doing absolutely everything that I could never imagine doing to a child.
When I left her house, she texted me that she had feelings for me and this and that and that I couldn't leave to go back to Chicago or that I should take her with me. I told her that I had had feelings for her, too, until I saw how she treated her kids. I told her that unfortunately our child-rearing philosophies would never be in alignment and that because of that, I saw no reason for us to continue. She flipped out about it and gave me a lecture on how hard it was to be a mom. To make a long story short, she took great offense to it.
Through the next few days she would go back and forth between sending me a text message that said she was sorry for being so mean to me and messages that said she hated me and wanted me to disappear. My responses to them all were the same or similar to, "I'm sorry. After getting to know you a little better, I realize that I don't have feelings for you."
After all kinds of rude messages to me, she said that she thinks she's pregnant. Now she says that she for sure is. So, here's the timeline:
3:00 am March 24th - Sex
3:00 pm March 30th - She says she missed her period
12:01pm March 31st - She said "I just got back from the dr. He checked my uterus and said I'm pregnant but not far enough for a pregnancy test to detect it. What the h__l do you want me to do?"
Basically, since then, I've told her it would be silly and irresponsible to have a baby. She's blowing smoke in her kids' faces already and cursing at them and it's just a mess. But to be honest, I just don't believe her. Seems like a setup to me.
Is it even possible to tell she's pregnant 6 or 7 days after intercourse? I thought it takes 6-10 days to even conceive and then at least another 2 days before a doctor could tell in a blood test. In fact, she didn't even say that she had a blood test, just that the doctor checked her uterus.
Can someone help me out here with what to believe? I live way too far away to just go check.

My feelings would be that she's just ticked and is lying, but...? 6 or 7 days IS too soon I think. Some women do get early +s, but your "window of opportunity" (ovulation) is 2 weeks before your period and a week isn't long enough to tell. SO, my guess would be that she's just trying to hook you. I'm totally against s_x outside of marriage and I won't go there, but imo I don't think she is. May be wrong, may get told off by someone who knows more than I do, but there it is. :-)
