darn, darn and darn! So many af's, not enough bfp! Love, you're the last one standing this go around, good luck to you and your faint line! No, I don't think skinny line vs fat line makes a difference. Hold out a few more days, if you can. I'm an avid tester too, I know how hard it is. Let's see if we can wait till next week, test again, then we can congratulate you ^_^
phoenix, it's understandable, life does come in and take over anything you do. Such is life, right? Great hearing from you though.
andesue- sorry to hear this month isn't your month either. Sounds like a plan, enjoy your dd bday! how old will she be?
update: haven't really been able to take bbt, I have had a change in schedule and am working night, so it's hard to measure a temp at 6 at night instead of 530 am and feel like i've gotten an accurate reading. So far no O yet, but ff says i should be fertile anywhere from tomorrow to Saturday. I'm Trying to keep an eye on everything but my schedule has been so crazy it's difficult. opk was neg today, we'll see what tomorrow brings though ^_^

I'm so sorry Simone; I'm so disgusted for you!
I've been doing some reading on clearblue easy and false positive rates; doesn't look good; apparently people are screaming all over the place about getting false positves on this brand! Personally, I've taken hundreds of tests over the years (more like in the last couple of months!!) including this one and never had a false positive; believe me you would have heard about it! But that doesn't mean this one isn't a falsie; and with the way my luck goes....
Ha Ha! wait till next week to test! I'll be happy if i can last the rest of the night! I'm pretty good until 9 dpo; then look out!!
Well, here's hoping; if this month is out for me, at least i have my new OV watch to play with next month and report to you girls on!

Mornin guys! I'm 12 dpo today; temp went up! coverline is 36.44 - i had a nosedive yesterday that scared me - 36.48 from 36.80 - now today it's back up to 36.60!
Have a good day!

holy cow! you had a temp dip at 11 dpo? my fingers are crossed tightly for you, love! let's hope that was implantation dip!! I think this is it for you!

Love- Its okay, I guess I have plenty of time to figure out what the hell is wrong with me. Where did you get your watch? I need one!!! I will feel so much better if I at least know that I am ovulating. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!!! I kinda liked that the clearblue actually said pregnant or not pregnant. Is that the one you took?
Pika- I wish I knew what the deal was too. It has to be the birth control pills. I will NEVER take them again. I did buy some raspberry leaf tea over the weekend. they say its suppose to help regulate you. We will see if it does the trick. In the mean time I am going to make a doctor appointment for this week. I will keep you all updated.
Good Luck and lots of babydust!!!

ov watch dot com - you really need to check it out! I figure that, combined with charting, and opk's, you just can't miss ov date then!
You don't think 11 dpo is too late for an implantation dip?
I am too deathly afraid to take the digital right now; I want to wait until I can see a very strong positive on frer - that test is my nemesis..

Simone- Im sorry for the bad new darn AF!!
Love- You should use the digital Clearblue they are more expensive but they are way more accurate than the line clearblue. As far as i can tell your temp never dipped below the coverline so you should be good just hang in there and Patience young jedi:)
Pika- did your test come back positive today?
Hi Phoenix we missed u!

Hey Love, I've got my fingers crossed for you! I'm due on Thursday too and won't take a test until Wednesday, hehe.
I've come and gone here on the forums and was hanging out in the 35 and over TWW but I came back last week and it's really quiet so had to go hunting around to see if anyone else was waiting to see......
To all, just a tad about me. We got pregnant last April, with twins BUT, one was ectopic. We decided to use that as an opportunity rather than a downfall and focus on getting our businesses up and running. We're ALMOST there and we weren't going to really start trying for another couple of months actually. Thing is, I saw how messed up my system had been too, being on birth control. The 1st few months off I swore I was preggers every month because my body was going through so many hormone shifts. Now that I'm regulated and know my cycle for the most part, as well as CM and how it should be,etc. it's a lot easier for me to know when. I did the temp thing in the past and just don't want to make myself too crazy with this. So, checking CM is about all I do, as well as count days.
My cycle isn't EXACT every month and so basically what happened is we BD'd and then I ovulated early (had the MAJOR twinges the next day and even though there was sperm, I could tell my CM had kicked in too). Anyhoo. I've had a few possible signs BUT, I also know we can drive ourselves crazy a___lyzing every twinge or vein our body produces, hehe.
So, TRYING to be patient. I did, however, indulge in buying a number of HPT's which I haven't needed to use since we weren't trying (but weren't not trying either, just trying to avoid around the fertile time) SO, even though I'd learned from last year to wait until I was late to actually take one, this month I figured I'd "splurge" and take one on Wednesday so that I didn't have to keep driving myself nuts wondering. Add to that, my Dr. says the minute I know I'm pregnant to call her so that I can go in immediately for a v____al ultrasound and HCG blood test as they want to rule out another ectopic. I'm all for that!
Anyhoo, good luck again Love. I don't think a thin or thick line matters, from what I've read for ages on this board is "a line IS a line!" And if you've used this brand before and not had a false positive before, I doubt you'll be getting one now, :o)

Good Morning ladies;
Update:dpo 13 another slight increase in temp today; up 36.61 from 36.60
Recap: coverline 36.44 - temps remained pretty steady 36.77 - 36.80 then dropped to 36.48 on dpo 11 - went back up to 36.60 yesterday then 36.61 today - af due on dpo 15
Only 5 more high temps then I can test - bahahahahah!
Lexy; Welcome! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss - a question; if one was ectopic were they not able to remove that one but keep the other one? Have you tested yet? Kind of a running joke with me; I am a TESTOHOLIC! I wouldn't let my dh know anything about our ttc journey, not only because I don't want to give him the stress of the ttc drama, but because i also believe he would organize an intervention if he knew what an addict I am; no worries though; I'll just be happy to give him good news if and when it finally comes :)

love, yeah it may be late for an implantation dip, but you know the science of babies is NEVER exact. I am no expert, it was just a hopeful mention. the countdown starts!
Welcome lexy!! glad to have you here. keep us updated, I can't wait to hear.
april, yesterday hubby congratulated me on the faint line on opk, and the line is more definite today. looks like it's time to cross fingers.
I'm not very excited about much today. Yesterday I had a huge dip in mood and became pretty depressed. It's carried on to this morning. I feel inadequate and depressed that it has taken this long to conceive, and I'm worried about my body's ability. earlier this year I had some pretty severe pain during and after intercourse with dh, went to the doctor to figure out why. After the exam, the only thing he could think of was a possible case of endometriosis. He said it causes severe pain (as I noticed) and sometimes can cause infertility. The only way to diagnose and treat it is with surgery. Well, I have never had one of those before so I don't want one now. If it takes me a year to get pg then I'll think about getting that done to see if it's the problem. Not wanting to bring you guys down at all, just wanted to let you know why I'm a little depressed if I mention it again. That has been a worry of mine since I found out. I'm crossing fingers and toes that my little zygote can implant despite it all!

Hey guys,
Before I say anything else, I had super sore b___bies last night and weird stomach pains sooooo, my thinking was a) I ovulated early and b) if these ARE symptoms, they're coming from a higher hormone level that SHOULD show up on a test. Sooooo, following that train of thought, I took a test this morning. BFN. So, that answers THAT question. No, I'm not holding out hope that it might change in a few days. I do trust the tests. After a couple of years of this and having had a BFP, I know that if you are, 99.95% of the time, it does show up.... (and yes, I've read all of the posts that will say the contrary because THAT is what I wanted when I 1st started, over time, you don't get as crazy about it, calm down and know what will be, will be).
Okay, to answer your question Love, no. I had the methotrexate (sic) shot to save my tube. If they'd done surgery to remove a tube, there was a very slim chance that the other would survive (almost nil). So, to prevent major surgery AND to save my tube, we just went with the shot. Trust me, I've heard the question multiple times and even though technology has advanced in many areas, the answer for that particular question at the moment isn't going to change anytime soon unfortunately.
I still think YOU are though, ;o)
Good luck to everyone waiting for their BFP! I'm kinda relieved, I think in a few more months we'll be better prepared to take this on. It's just SO hot now that it's wearing me out and I know being preggers would basically make me a non-functioning person in this heat, hehe. So, the upside is I'll hopefully have a few more months to get the new business properly up and running so that we can not only get pregnant but, so I can leave my job at the end of the year as planned and work from home. We'll see how it works out since, as I mentioned before, we're not trying but we're not NOT trying, ;O)

I just found out something on the internet;
After implantation, it takes HCG 3-4 days to make it to your bloodstream to be picked up by a blood test; from there it takes another 2-3 days to make it to your urine to become a bfp; so the earliest a person could test would be 5-7 days after implantation- makes sense as normal implants happen 6-12 dpo; so a person who implants on dpo7 could get a bfp on dpo 12-which is very normal for some.
THEREFORE; if i implanted on dpo10 (as my a__sumed implantation dip would suggest) then I should not be testing for at least 7 days after that which would leave me at testing this saturday; which would mean af would be 2 days late and I would have had 17 days of high temps..and if afp (another f_____g period) should show in the meantime, I will have 3 more tests which I will not perform until 7 days after a future a__sumed implantation dip. Look at me Nancy Drew!
I am making a promise to myself not to test until Saturday...I know I can do it if i remind myself of these very scientific facts!
Pika- please don't be discouraged. I need to tell you a story about my cousin; neither one of us had siblings so we grew up together; when she was 9 yrs old she had appendicitis. Somehow, the doctors sewed her uterus to her back as they were giving her appendicitis surgery. Her appendix burst on the operating table, so maybe they were panicking.Anyway, this was not discovered until she was in her mid 20's after years of horrible af pain. It was also discovered she had PID (pelvic inflammatory disease). After years battling that she eventually had to have one tube removed due to excessive scarring and infection. Her other tube was barely operating. At 36 she became engaged. Never bothered with bc as the doctor gave her a minimal chance of concieving and almost zero chance of carrying a child. Her other tube had become infected as well and had swollen to resemble a sausage. She decided to go to the doctor to have the whole works removed as she couldn't take the pain anymore. Well, lo and behold, summer before last, she discovered she was pregnant! Carried the baby full term and had a beautiful baby boy in Feb! Thinking lightning could not strike twice, no bc. Then right after my wedding in April, she discovered she was pregnant again! Sadly ended in miscarriage at 5 weeks. But miracles DO happen Pika! No one can say for sure if you will have one, but the chance exists; with my son i was ttc for 6 months after having no trouble in the past. I remember that feeling of hopelessness and living month to month waiting for afp. Now here I am willing to go through that hell again; only because the reward is so big!!
Hang in there Pika; we're all here for you!

TTC 3 months
Hi everyone, it's been a couple of weeks since I was last on here but I've chilled out a bit since. Last month I went to the Dr to get a blood test (BFN) a couple of days before my AF came.
This month, I'm charting my BBT (which is up & down like a yo-yo, I think I need to be stricter with my timing). Since I've been PG before and I know what it feels like, I'm going to try wait until my BBs are so sore again before getting excited.
The 2WW is awful, but until I get that huge BB increase, I'll know I'm not PG and will not keep spending money on HPTs! I know everyone's bodies are different but I think tender BBs seem to be a fairly common sign of pregnancy which happened to me noticeabley immediately when my AF was due.
Praying for sore BBs this month then! Good luck everyone x
