TTC 3 months
Hi everyone, it's been a couple of weeks since I was last on here but I've chilled out a bit since. Last month I went to the Dr to get a blood test (BFN) a couple of days before my AF came.
This month, I'm charting my BBT (which is up & down like a yo-yo, I think I need to be stricter with my timing). Since I've been PG before and I know what it feels like, I'm going to try wait until my BBs are so sore again before getting excited.
The 2WW is awful, but until I get that huge BB increase, I'll know I'm not PG and will not keep spending money on HPTs! I know everyone's bodies are different but I think tender BBs seem to be a fairly common sign of pregnancy which happened to me noticeabley immediately when my AF was due.
Praying for sore BBs this month then! Good luck everyone x

oh, a footnote; I a__sume I would have implanted on dpo 10 as I had a major dip on dpo 11 - I always temp at 6am when I wake up..

Good Morning Ladies;
Update: temp up a bit to 36.67 from 36.61. Really feels like afp is coming - lots of cramps and very cranky. I know my temps are still up, but I'm beginning to have some doubts.
Have a good day!

Good morning Love,
That's the hard part with pregnancy symptoms, a lot of them are the same as PMS symptoms (actually, like you'res better, AFP,hehe). Cramping can start because the uterus is stretching to make room for the new addition and haha, my girlfriend said that's when she knew she was because she was REALLY horrible, especially to her husband.
It's weird I read this and I HATE to get my expectations up BUT, I tested 2 days before I was due and my BFP I had previously was when I waited until I was 2 days late. I tell you what. If I have to even wait to test, I'll know the answer! After yesterday, I counted myself out, regardless of what my body is doing because she's betrayed me in the past...... So, what's the weird thing? When we woke up this morning, my husband sat up and looked and me and was like, "Guess what I dreamed about last night?" I sorta knew when he said that but he went on, "I dreamed you were pregnant. You gave me a card like you did before and told me you were pregnant." I've heard of women dreaming they were and they were but not men. Anyhoo, the fat lady isn't here yet and until she sings, I guess I'm still in, even though due to my BFN yesterday, I figured I was out. *sigh* I hate this.
Good luck everyone!

Oh Lexy you make me laugh! Just when you begin to accept that it might not be your month your DH gives you more reason to hope! Looks like we are due about the same time; I'm tired of the ambiguous test results - oh, maybe faint line! Oh, strong bfp on cbe! Oh, nothing on this one...I'm with you...if I am still asking at this point, I think i already know my answer. I love the option on ff where you can look at other people's charts that are similar to yours; maybe get a read on what your chances are; I thought mine were pretty good considering my temps are still above cl at 14 dpo; HOWEVER; lots of people's temps were high - even as far as 17 dpo! Then dropped like a rock to reveal the monthly present...I feel there is no hope for me at this point and am simply waiting for afp to show up so I can begin anew; AND I'm going to write a scathing letter to Clearblue Easy regarding these stupid plus minus blue dye tests! Good thing I took pictures! I have a pic at under a minute that shows a clear positive; this was around 11 dpo. And the same pic at 3 min...again a clear pos. Since then? Stupid ambiguous faint lines....I'm sure I know what their answer will be...well, if you're not sure...take another test in a few days! Just buy more of our c___ppy tests! I have been looking online and this problem with these tests has been going on for years...since around 2004! Maybe even sooner...all I know is when they had their simple double line tests, I never had a problem. Got a bfp with my son at 12 dpo. I think their opk's are great...I always use them and combined with the charting I can tell they are very accurate. But this c___p with the plus minus tests is enough...when you know you have a product like this on the market you KNOW sucks, why is it still there? It's like they are taking advantage of the easiest group of people; women who are desperate to have a child. I've read people who have complained before and gotten their money back; great, but is it really solving the problem? It's not their fault I am not pregnant; but it IS their fault for giving a person false hope with a shoddy product. I have not heard of a test with as many complaints of false positives as this one...and yet it's STILL on the shelves!! There's even a thread somewhere on this website that talks all about it...makes you want to cry.
Anyway, good luck Lexy...and to everyone else on here.

Hey Love.
Yah! I knew it would sorta be in the back of my mind until I did get my period as I've had various minor symptoms but that took the cake!
The only thing I do check is my cervical position in the shower and I do remember when I got my last BFP, it came down low, as it should for my period but then went back up and didn't come back down again. Now mind you, I've had that happen before and then it dropped, BLAM! and AF visited. So, this month, it was down and today started to climb up again but, again, a hard predictor unless it goes up higher and STAYS up. By then I'll have pee'd on the stick anyways.....
I've had mild on and off cramping the past day or so and today it's been more persistent, as yours seems to be. I'm due tomorrow so if she comes by tomorrow afternoon, fine. If she hasn't, I'll be SO tempted to test on Friday morning because I rarely pre-cramp and when I do, it's the day before or of. Usually I don't cramp until an hour or so before it's supposed to start. So, I'm waiting for an "appearance" right now. As I mentioned earlier, unfortunately, this is also a sign of pregnancy. Can't make it any more confusing or frustrating, huh?
With regards to tests, the one thing I've seen, learned, found out, etc. over the past few years is that the cheapest ones are not only wonderfully cheap but, usually the most accurate. Weird that they need less HcG than the pricier ones (like those stupid digital ones that say pregnant or not pregnant, I'll NEVER buy those again, they need 50 HcG to give you a positive!). We don't have dollar stores here, wish we did, but I get the cheaper drugstore brand that's either 1 pink line or 2 pink lines. They're accurate enough IMHO.
Anyhoo. *fingers crossed* Oh! BTW. Are you a 28 day cycle? I already checked, IF either of us are preggers, we'd be due around 10 March 2011. I'm up for that, be big in the winter vs. the hot summer.

OMG Lexy! I am due tomorrow too! My last af came the evening of June 2, so i am never really sure if i should count that as day 1, or June 3 as day 1. My cycle is 29 days - so if i count June 2, today is 29 days so af should come tomorrow - If june 3, af would come Friday. I think I should count June 2. It doesn't change my ov date as my temps and opk confirmed I ov'd on June 16 - problem is dh came home that day at 4:00 and we bd'd soon after. But it's pretty dicy as to whether or not we would have caught the egg...
I have never had any luck checking my cervical position; I can never reach it! At least you have that bit of data on your side :) The only real difference I've noticed this month is that I started cramping at 5 dpo - i never usually cramp until the day before or the day of af. But, like you, I realize these 'symptoms' for pg are the same as for af, so i try not to put too much into it.
If you want to see something that will really make you crazy, look up 'late bfp' stories on the net....you would think you were pg EVERY month!! It's nice because sometimes you can see someone saying "i've had neg hpt for a week and now my period is 2 days late; I'm gonna test again tomorrow" then a couple of posts later "I got my BFP!!" It's absolutely tormenting. I know, I know, why on earth would you want to torment yourself? It's like the car crash; it's so hard not to look! At least for me.
I want to keep my promise to myself and not test until sat. I will keep myself busy so I don't think about it so much and then maybe af will show and it won't be a concern anymore.
Good luck! Make sure you update!!
PS; yes, I checked too! March 10! All of my 3 kids were born in either Feb or Mar; 2 in Feb; 1 in Mar. Did you o on June 16?

thank you love, for that enlightening story. I did tell you 1 more week, didn't I? haha... your research is awesome, and it proves my original thought... then again, it was pretty much a lucky guess based on my own reading. I'd count the day af comes to be day 1. I always do, but my af usually comes while i'm sleeping (not always so great) after 3 or 4 days of spotting, so it can be confusing as to which day to count as 1 for me as well. You only have 3 days left to distract yourself, hang in there!
Update: My temp dropped pretty hard today, my usual is around (farenheit) 97.5, but this morning I tested 3 times and came up 96.5 once and 96.8 twice. I was also feeling COLD! I can't reach my cervix enough to check it out much either unless it's low, but I'm lucky enough my dh is willing to check it for me, I taught him how, as I work in Labor and Delivery and see it and hear about it all day (or night). Then he reports to me his findings. (sorry if that's tmi) It's still high, but that's to be expected on cd 11. Last cycle I O'd on cd 13, so we're close! Anywho, I'm absolutely exhausted for no apparant reason, so I'm going to head out. Thank you again for your support, and I'm looking forward to updates! I'm really hoping this is your month, ladies!

You are so lucky to have dh check your cerv for you! If i tried to teach my dh how, he would stick his fingers in his ears and sing "la la la la"...there's never enough info for me! So no worries! But my dh on the other hand....another reason why I keep the drama to myself!
Wow! you work in L & D? You must be a WEALTH of information! You must also see some pretty amazing and miraculous stories yourself :) If you have any, I'd love to hear them! Those stories always make me happy :)
Looks like O might be right around the corner for you! Do you use opk's?
Af due tomorrow; i think it will be a good sign if my temp is up tomorrow; but I will look forward to using my ov watch next cycle if it tanks....
Good luck! And babydust!

Sorry I've been away for a while life is so busy sometimes.
update:I ovulated either on the 28th or the 29th because my temp took a serious nose dive from 97.58 to 97.05 and the jumped to 97.60 and today my temp was 97.73 just one more day of a high temp and i'll know for sure and then its the big 2WW for me too!
I'm a little worried though and anxious but there is always next month if this month fails. I feel like I had an epiphany or something like it. I was soooooooo worried about TTC that I dreamed about it and even daydreamed about it almost consumed all my thoughts and words till it became all i talked about. But I think thats because I didnt really talk to anyone about what I was really feeling and it just got built up inside. The point is that since I've joined this forum I've never felt better!! To see other women have the same questions, doubts and experiences makes this alot easier to handle (especially with 2WW coming up). Basiclly thank you all for your support.
Love- I've started TGT (Testoholics Group Therapy) you don't have to suffer alone...... because I'm with you honey! Last month I tested almost everyday after 9 dpo but this month I'm going to try and wait till af is late but I know myself all too well. Anyways good LUCK!!
Pika- Don't get discouraged. I'm praying for you girl.

Good Morning Ladies!
Update: Huge temp drop today; below coverline; 36.22 from 36.66 - cramps increasing - i know afp is on her way.
Yes, I'm sad and a little depressed, but not entirely surprised. I've always believed that if a test is to be positive, you will get one maybe two faint lines then a strong one; I never got my strong one.
There are a few positives about this month, being my first month of charting;
-I learned I definately ovulate
-I have a very obvious temp surge when i do
-My cycle is exactly 29 days
I've already learned to pay less attention to my 'symptoms', now I'm going to pay full attention to my temps everyday, and try ultra-hard not to test before 14dpo.
I think we have a great chance next month! I have my OV watch, AND I'm on vacation for the summer so when dh comes home for two weeks we will be together EVERY day and night! He's due home July 7 and goes back to work on July 21 - I'm due to ov around July 15.
I also have a dr's appt this monday, so i'm going to bring in my chart and talk with her about ttc - maybe she has some ideas! At my age we don't have too many cycles to waste..
Good luck everyone! Babydust!

I don't ever really hear their ttc stories, or how the patients came to be there, I just know their end of pregnancy. By working there I know what I do and do not want, personally. I do not want to be induced, regardless of how long the kiddo's been in there. about half of the inductions end in c-section (which I don't want), 1/4 of them have small problems due to induction, and another small handful of them are failed and are sent home to try again later. If the induction lasts too long, the baby gets unhappy and they get sectioned or the doctors start to worry about their well being. It's scary how many things can go wrong, but it's amazing how many things can go perfectly, despite the odds. when we're all big with baby and thinking about delivery, I'm sure I can be a little more useful to you all, but I am no doctor. I am a surgical tech, so I help the doctors deliver babies via c-section and help the nurses by setting up the v____al delivery tables. It is wonderful working there, but also quite maddening because I want so much to be where those women are... having their beautiful babies!!
update: Still no O !!! this is cd 12 and the days are going by so slowly. I took hpt in hopes of having bled through a pregnancy, but as anticipated it was bfn. I think I'm a testoholic too!! We pick up my step daughter today, so i get to play mommy again... I love it so much. She still wants a little sister lol. Temp is back to normal today, 97.5 after it's nosedive yesterday. I wonder what that was about. Still have lotion CM, so it's still not time to seriously bd, though that's only half the fun. FF was a bit off on it's prediction, but then again, I have had pretty irregular cycles, though they've seemed to calm down a little bit. Anyhow, I'd love to hear how everyone else is doing this morning!
here's to hoping you did O this month, april... had you taken opk?
Anywho, time for some housework.
