High BBT After Period What Does This Mean

My BBT was high for 19 days after I last ovulated, and then it dropped for a couple days when I got my period. Now over the past week my temp has been steadily increasing, so my temps are really high again and I'm only on the 10th day of my cycle. I haven't ovulated yet, so does any one know what this may mean?

Weird. Are you taking your temp every morning before rising? Are the batteries running down? Have you tried taking a v____al temp instead? If none of this helps, "see your health provider".

I am taking it before rising, and this is only my second month using it, so I don't think the batteries are running low, so anything is possible.I haven't taken a v____al temp instead because everything seemed to be normal my first month. Could this mean I'm possbily pregnant, or that there's something wrong with me? I will see what happens in the next couple days and then see my health provider. Thanks!

that's very interesting, I don't think I've read of anything like that before. Is the second rise above your cover line?

Well, last month I ovulated and my temp rised, then there was a second rise, and my temp stayed up for 19 days after ovulation, so I thought I was probably pregnant. Then af came and was heavy on the first day kinda watery clots (sorry for tmi), and was very light for 3 days after. It was 2 days shorter than normal. But my temp did go down for a couple days to 97.2. Now it has been steadily increasing this week and is at 97.8 and I'm only on day 10 of my cycle. I've been tracking my cm and cp, and I have no indication that I have ovulated. So I don't know what to think and if I could actually be pregnant from last month. I hate making myself go through this. My hubby and I really want to be pregnant.

it sounds promising- have you taken a hpt? I tried to look it up in my book (Taking Charge Of Your Fertility), but didn't see anything like it- they only give a few examples.Sorry! Keep us posted! I know they do say that 97.6 and above is postovulatory. Some women do get their periods when pregnant!

I was 7 days late for my period and I took a test on the 7th day, and then I got my period. Now it's 10 days later and I haven't tested again. I wanted to wait till the end of this cycle. I'm so sick of bfn, it's emotionally straining to keep seeing that. Thanks for looking for me!

Hi Erin,
I'm currently in the same boat that you were in. I was 7 days later on my last cycle, Temps were kind of crazy, got my period and it was 3 days ahorter than normal, really heavy on the 1st day and lighter after that, now my temp is up to 98.1 on CD 12 and no sign of ovulation. What happened with you?
