Hi there! I'm 22 years old. I have a 1 year old son and had a miscarriage right before becoming pregnant with him. I had a pretty normal pregnancy with him. My husband and I have not been TRYING to get pregnant. We usually use condoms, but there have been a few times where we didn't. My cycle was irregular when I was a teenager, but as I got older it settled into a pretty normal cycle, usually right at 28 days (give or take a day or two at most). My last period started March 6th, and if you do the math I am now roughly 3 weeks late. I feel very different than usual, but I have not had many pregnancy symptoms like I did when I was pregnant with my son. I have had very light cramps that just sort of come and go a couple times throughout the day, but my period never starts. Sometime in the last 4-5 days I went to the bathroom and had a very small amount of spotting, thinking my period would finally start. It still has not shown up. I have tested numerous times with HPTs and every single time they are negative! I have NEVER skipped a period before, and I am starting to get a little worried about this. Has anyone had anything similar happen to them? Can anyone offer any insight? I am going on Monday morning to get blood tests done for pregnancy and to check my thyroid levels (my mother has been asking me to get my thyroid levels checked for quite awhile now, but the last time I had them checked I was told they were normal). Is it possible that I could still be pregnant?

The tests I had done today were no help at all. Good news: the pregnancy test came back negative (whew!). The bad news: the thyroid test also came back negative. This leaves me and the doctor frustrated and puzzled.
