Ladies I am a 31 year old woman who had been on the Depo-Provera Shot for over 10plus years. I unfortunately lost my medical insurance and prescription coverage so I had no choice but to stop taking my birth control. Long story short I found out on Sept. 25 2013 that I was pregnant but due to medical complications my OB/GYN decided that I needed to terminate the pregnacy a few weeks later. My fiance of 4 years left me. Anyway I was blessed enough to find another man who treated me like gold and actually wanted me to carry his child we last had unprotected s_x on his birthday Jan 30,2014 and got my period literally the next day. A week later he left me too. It is now Feb25th, 2014 and about a week ago I could feel my period was coming in the next day or two (I know exactly when I'm about to get it because my br___ts become very swollen full and tender and painful, get horrific cramps,my mood swings start kicking in-all that fun stuff I am sure so many of you ladies get and know your period is right around the corner.) Well that was a week ago and I have yet to get it. Is it possible I am pregnant in that short of a time? I will go get a test in the morning but I am hoping someone can help me out with any knowledge you know that I dont. Is it possible to test positive when it really hasnt been that long? Should I wait a few more days? Should I get a test that is able to detect the pregnancy hormone 5 days earlier? Any help would be more than appreciated.Thank you and bless all of the amazing women willing to help me.

Mysti, if you had a normal period at the beginning of February and have not had intercourse since, it is difficult to see how you could be pregnant. Come back and let us know how it turns out. GL!
