So about a week or two ago I had a lot more discharge than usual, so that kind of made me wonder if I could be pregnant. My boyfriend and I almost always have unprotected sex. I got my period two days early. It came on the 30th of August and it usually doesn't come until the 1-6 of the month. At first it was a little heavy but yesterday and today has been barely anything on my tampons. What could this mean?

Two weeks before your expected period is ovulation time, when among other things you can expect the stretchy "fertile mucus" discharge. Since you have regular unprotected sex you can expect to get pregnant in three months of trying or less. You may just have experienced implantation spotting and we now have to wait to see if you get any early pregnancy signs - weird cramps, sore breasts, more peeing, emotions, upset gut, backache, food cravings, feelings of nausea etc all where different from PMS. If you think you might be pregnant a home pregnancy test next weekend would be in order, and perhaps another a week later. Best of luck!
