Hi all, how long does it take for sperm to come out. me and my husband had s_x on Friday and on sunday I had a huge glob of discharge on my panties...I have never had anything like that before in my life! I thought AF had come, it was white with clear mixed in it and it was a huge glob, I cleaned it up and when I went back to the restroom about 2 hours later I had it again. AF is not supposed to show up until August 20th and we are trying to get pregnant. Has anyone ever heard of this?

It could just be cervical cm from around the time you ovulate.

Hi there, I've found that usually for the next 24 hours it will leak back out- but within 48 its long gone- if it is sperm, than your hubby's sure making enough to get you prego :-) So thats god news! Baby dust***

one more question if you guys could help? I started having ewcm on the 6th, and had it on the 7th, 9th and 11th! Is that normal? I had thought you had ewcm on the day of ovulating. Going by the calendar I was supposed to ovulate on the 6th. Could I have ovulated later than the 11th since I still had ewcm or is that normal to have it even after you have ovulated?

I am not one the say something is "normal" .....I never had ewcm or any cm and managed to get pregnant twice without any of it...So to me really CM means nothing. I know it is necessary for sperm to enter the cervix and to prolong their life span and I'm sure I had it in my uterus .......so what comes out really doesnt tell me much!

hey tonibug... you could have o'd later than expected if your cycle is irregular (have you recently gone off bcp?). Also about the "glob", I get it all the time (well since stopping the use of a condom) but cheree and emma is right, it usually last no more than that day. Also, I saw my doctor yesterday and she told me new studies are finding that a percentage of women ovulate TWICE a month (but more studies are being done to research it in depth to see just how common it really is). For now we know that there are in fact some women who this happens to ... so who knows, maybe that could explain this as well? Anyway, babydust to you for the next couple of weeks!! : )

Emma i agree with you as well..i dont get ewcm and i have gotten pregnant twice as well...so cm is never a good indication for O for me either...and i agree that it is probably just cm...if it were creamy then i would suspect it to be after O cm...well good luck

Hey Flappergirl, my period is pretty regular. I do have some new symptoms that I am hoping means I am Pregnant!! My b___bs hurt, I feel wet down there. I have a little nauseausness every now and again. AF is expected on Sunday, If I dont get it then I will test Monday. Good Luck Everyone!

hi tonibug, we are on the same cycle, only i think I o'd between aug 2-5 (I think the5th) af due the 20th for me too. not having many signs; bbs a little sore,excessive gas/bloating and cm change from mostly just wet to a little ew today?hmmm?? i don't know if I will test monday cause i was 4 days late last month but I hope you get your BFP on monday and no af sunday!!! I'll check back to see how you are doing****BABY DUST****

sperm can survive inside of you for 72 hrs the same thing happens with me and my fiancee we could have s_x early in the morning and in the afternoon i could go to the bathroom and when i wipe myself there would be a glob of his sperm on the tissue sometimes it CAN get messy. ha ,ha

Hi ladies, I needed to let a few of you know that s____n does not stay in the lotion like state for very long after ejaculation. It HAS to liquify in order for the sperm to start swimming, and that liquifaction should only take 15 minutes to an hour at the most. One hour is a long time and most likely abnormal for the s____n to liquify. Now as far as huge globs, that is all you and your cm, because only 1/2 a teaspoon of s____n is ejaculated at one time from a normal male. Please forgive me if I sound rude, but I thought you should know these facts so you don't need to worry! Oh yeah and once the s____n liquifies and the sperm start swimming, they are well on thier way to find your egg, they are not coming out when you go potty! : ]

Emma your comment about the ni cm mucus was so helpful to me I've been wondering had like ni cm I even checked with my finger and there was none I ovulated yesterday according to my calendar I'm ttc had intercourse last night but the next day only got like watery dischage no sperm but I wondering with the no cm o thought I would never conceive
