Long Cycles And Late Ovulation

Hi there! I'm new to this board - looking forward to being a part of discussions! My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, and I have a history of very long cycles...anywhere from 40-50 days! This past cycle, I think I ovulated between day 26 and 28 of my cycle according to the changes in my cervical mucous. I haven't gotten to the point of checking my temperature and very detailed charting. This morning, which would have been about 14 days post conception, I had what I thought was implantation bleeding. I know 14 days is kind of late for implantation but not unheard of. Along with this very light brown spotting, I had really bad cramps and a wave of nausea that lasted about 15 minutes. Then it was completely gone! I took a pregnancy test, and it was negative...I know if I am in fact just now going through implantation, my test would not be positive. Has anyone had a similar experience? Especially the bad cramping/nausea part - that kind of made me nervous. I'm on day 42 of my cycle, and no period yet. But like I said, my cycles have been up to 50 days before, so who knows! I hate this waiting! Any input would be greatly appreciated:) Sending lots of baby wishes out there!
