ok looking for all your gals opinions. This morning I wook up with EXTREME nipple sensitivity...my last af was on 8/23 and was normal...but this is also 1st month of stopping bc...me and hubby are hoping to get pg...wouldnt thought anything of a late period if it is late...because I know that bc can mess up your period when you stop takeing it. I know that some gurls get senitivity in the br___ts before a period but i have never gotten that. Before the pill I was on a 30-33 day cycle. On the pill I had that 28 day cycle. Oh yeah I also woke up this morning and got REALLY queezy....but than it went away....sooooooo.....could I possibly be pg??? I know I need to wait to see if my af comes...but dont want to sit here wondering if I am imagining!

Well, it hard to say. You might be PG and you might not. I got off of the pill in may and had a very similar experience to yours last month. I was late 2 weeks, with all the symptoms (even the nausea, vomitting, and metallic-y taste), and would have bet money I was PG. Nope, I just ovulated late, and my horomones were returning to normal after the pill. I thought this was extra weird b/c I had 2 months of "normal" AFs before this last "whacky" one. This month I started charting and temping. Hopefully, there will be no question about this month.

It's possible you could be pregnant, you can try taking a test around the day you estimate your next period to be due. It can really go either way, some women will get pregnant right off the pill and some take awhile. I thought for sure I would get pregnant right away, I'm 22 and healthy but I'm in my fourth month trying now. The first month I had prenancy symptoms really bad I was sick and my b___bs were swollen up huge and hurt so bad and I was so moody, crying over everything. The only thing I could figure out after alot of reading is that it was just my body adjusting to producing it's own hormones again. My first cycle off the pill only came a few days late but it lasted two weeks with light to moderate bleeding. BC can do some crazy things to your body.
Anyway, try not to worry too much, j know it's hard just test when you can. I doubt your imagining things, it's either pregnancy or your body adjusting. GoodLuck!

thanks for the support gurls! Am jsut so curious to why my nipples are so very sensitive...almost painfully sensitive. I had skipped a month of birth control previoulsy because i had to be on antibiotics and jsut decided to skip that month...but didnt experience any sort of b___st sensitivity...so i am crossing my fingers that my af doesnt start....cause a baby would eb a really nice addintion to mine and my DH's lives! We both adore children and can not wait till I concieve!

It's possible that the extra sensitivity you feel is just your body taking a while to catch up to you being of BCP. Like I mentioned before it took 2 months after I stopped BCP before I had the false pregancy symptoms. I had stopped BCP for a month before (earlier this year) and had no symptoms that time.

Ok today my nipples are still extremely sensitive (which I NEVER had with af) and the areola has lightened alot and the center is darker and is in some constant state of nipping??? This does not feel like something I would get with a period...I know I got to wait and see for my period within the next 2 or 3 days....but do you ladies think its tooo early for a pg test? I would hate to take one and waste it just because I was to impatient!!

I had the EXACT same symptoms and it was my first month off the pill. That was my first symptom and then I had a TON of others after that. It hurt and the cold weather was my nemisis. Unfortunately, I had AF start 3 days ago. I am not sure if it was the BC or what but I never had it with any of my cycles before and I was off BC for a year and never experienced it. I would wait(trust me, I know it is hard) Try to wait a week after you are due. You should have accurate results by then and you won't have to worry about wasting them(I did, I tested WAY too early)

I normally don't get overly excited about people's symptoms, but the one symptom that stands out in my head as the most promising is definitely sensitive nipples...and I don't mean push on them and they feel tender sensitive but rather shower water feels like razor blades sensitive. Best of luck to you! Waiting to hear about your bfp...

They hurt enough that I HAVE to have my bra on because my shirt brushing against them was making me cringe. My DH decide last night that we should both sleep naked and all I could do to stop the blanket from making them hurt was to wrap it around me tightly. I hope I am, my AF should have some by today or maybe tommorrow. But I am doubting it will. I have NEVER had these feelings or the nipples hurting for a period even when I have come off of birth control before. I am crossing my fingers! I have three PG tests right infront of me (got to love nervous but excited DH!!!) but am nervous about taking one...gonna wait till the morning AT LEAST, so that I get more concentrated urine. **crossing fingers**
