I did find that the clear blue digital test which you can test 4 or 5 days early is written fairly big in bold black writing if you want to test that one is your best bet because they line ones are harder to read only thing is the digital ones are around 15 dollars.

regardless if you test soon or later you will know if it's a miscarriage or not. If these are pregnancy symptoms then you would not need to wait a week after ur period was do to test considering the egg would have already implanted into the uterine lining for you to be getting all these symptoms. I've had two miscarriages and trust me when I tell you this it's not anything like a period!! It's much much more different! With todays pregnancy tests you can get positive pregnancy tests just 9 and 10 dpo and some even get positives 8 dpo. But what my point is if these even are pregnancy symptoms then you should be able to get a positive test at least by the time ur period is do. If it's still negative after ur period was do you are more than likely not pregnant. Also, when I was pregnant I peed ALL the time! I would wake up at least 4 times a night to pee, my b___st were HUGE and hurt so so so bad! My breats get sore when my period is do but when ur pregnant ur b___st feel like they are on fire and are going to fall off! It's not like just a little sore it's insanley sore and I had bad spider veins on my breats. Try not to stress about it cuz a lot of times women seem to obsesse about it and over dramatize the symptoms which is understandable cuz if uve never been pregnant you don't know what to really look for. Gl to you though and hopefully ur period will show but the more you stress it can delay it.

I am in the same boat as most of you ladies. I had unprotected s_x with my ex 5 days ago during my high fertility time. I am on the pill though, so my chances of being pregnant are a lot slimmer. Maybe it's just all in my head, but I feel pregnant. I am exhausted as of the past 2 days and today I feel light headed and dizzy like I was going to pa__s out in the floor at work. The majority of the "symptoms" I am having are probably all in my head and I am not due for my next period for another 2 weeks. Part of me wants to be pregnant, but he and I are not together anymore or married, so that makes the other part of me not want to be pregnant. I almost can't imagine how horrible I'll probably feel if I AM pregnant. Still, it's nice to have an outlet to express how I feel right now. Not knowing is punishment. I'll be happy to be able to take a test in a couple of weeks.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, with all the weird symptoms I was having, I got my period as scheduled yesterday. And if you just had s_x five days ago and symptoms have been going on for a couple days, you're likely fine. From what I've read, it takes about a week, give or take a couple days, for the fertilized egg to implant, and you can't get any symptoms until it does. So hopefully things are fine for you and like me, the symptoms are in your head or related to something else. Good luck!

Thank you. That does help except tonight, when I went to the bathroom, I was bleeding. So now I have no idea what that is about. I NEVER bleed during my ovulation time or before my period. NEVER! I almost told my ex but I don't want him to think I am being dramatic or trying to "act" pregnant since we don't know anything for sure. I am calming myself so that I can have a good night's sleep without stressing about anything. It's amazing how it plays with your mind when you don't know what is going on, especially having never been pregnant before. Everything I read is different and there's so many explanations for everything. Still, too early to know anything, so nothing left to do but pray and try not to think about it. Glad everything turned out okay with you!

Hi Ladies, Im so glad I found this forum. I'm recently TTC (3 months) and I need people's opinions/advice. I had somewhat irregular periods towards the end of 2010 year, since Jan they have been pretty regular (31 days avg). I went to the dr. did the sonogram, blood tests, etc no irregular results came through (Dr just advised i lose some weight- since Jan Ive lost 14 pounds on WeightWatchers- almost 5% of my BMI) Anyway, My LMP was on March 30th. I believe I OV on April 16th (using the OPK). I started what I think is IB on April 21(started out reddish/brown- little amount, then towards the end of the day it was a lesser version of what resembled my period (used a liner and it didnt really show- only when i wiped)- sorry to be so TMI! and now April 22 pretty much 3-4 brownish spots (not even enough to get on my panties). Is it a good sign/normal to have IB 5 days after ovulation and about 9 days before my expected AF (April 30th)? And if it is a good sign, when should I take a pregnancy test? I dont want to be disappointed... thanks in advance! BabyDust to all of us :)

I don't know much about these little comment things or inputs. Never done one, but I have questions I need answered. I'm almost 17, a month away. And I'm a little scared. Thursday, April 21 I had s_x. The first time we didn't use protection, but he pulled out before he came. Then the second time we did use protection. But later that night I was looking at my period/ovulation calender and it said the 21st was my most fertile day. Ever since I've been getting a slight bloody discharge. I really don't know if I should be worried right now..or what. I'd appreciate anyone's comments.

Hi Ladies, its been a few days and I'm still spotting-some days more than others and its gotten brighter in color-at this pt I'm just thinking its my period. Maybe better luck next month- I haven't taken a preg test yet- but I dnt feel any other symptoms. If ur feeling symptoms $aybe that's a better sign but I'd wait to take a test closer to ur missed period.

Hey girls...I'm feeling pregnant. Its been 5 days (5-6-11) unprotected...he came in me at least once. I WAS on Metformin for a couple weeks before then, and bcp too but I also had to take antibiotics for throat infection. Could I be preg? Period isn't due till (5-21-11) and I had s_x on my ovulation day. Symptoms so far are tiredness, sensitivity to smell (cannot stand fish smell but I did LOVE it) and mild cramp like flutters in my pelvic area...and plus (don't laugh...) way more ga__sy then usual. And yesterday I woke up with worst case of heartburn that continued thru out the day, and I never get that....Am I pregnant???

Hey ladies, I am really hoping that someone can help me out here? Okay so the story is I have had the implanon rod in my arm for 2 years and had not once that hole time had my period. Therefore I do not know when to expect my period or when I am supposed to ovulate. Me and my fiancé have been talking about our first baby for about 6 months now so I took the first step and we took the rod out about 2 weeks ago now. At the time it was taken out I was experiencing some light bleeding which I do not know what it was. Me and my fiancé have s_x quite regularly almost every day unprotected and We did have s_x while I was having light bleeding. But since the start of this week I have had really sore b___sts, feeling very sick, lost my appet_te, and feeling very nauseous and light headed and the other night I woke up really sweaty, is there a chance you think I could be pregnant? Or when should I take a test? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME ????????

Ladies, I have a whole new issue going on. WOW. I had my period and it wasn't a long as normal. But, I still had one Took a pregnancy test this week, it was a faint positive. Took another one. Negative. Took another one ... faint positive. I've been on my pill regularly and haven't missed one. No sickness symptoms or strange feelings. I also have ovarian cysts as well. The internet provides so many stories and things that it's crazy. I am scheduled for a blood test on Monday, but have read stories of women having a mixture of positive and negative tests and still not being pregnant. It just doesn't make sense though ... to have a period and then get mixed test results. I just took another test and go another negative. So that makes 2 faint positive and 2 negatives. All the same test, same brand. It's annoying not to know what's going on with your body. Anyone ever gotten a positive test and a period ... and NOT been pregnant?

Hi Girls, This may be help you. All the best. How Soon Can I Take a Pregnancy Test? All pregnancy tests look for the presence of hCG. hCG is short for "’’human chorionic gonadotropin’’". It is a hormone produced by the placenta during pregnancy. It is not produced until implantation (when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall). Implantation does not occur until 6-12 days after ovulation. So the soonest you can take a pregnancy test and get a positive test result is seven days after ovulation, though many women will get a false negative at this time. It can be tough, but you should try to wait to take a pregnancy test until 10-12 days after ovulation. Remember, even if you wait that long, you may still show a negative result. If you miss your period, you should retest. 90% of women will get a positive result the first day after a missed period--but 10% of women will test negative even though they are pregnant. If you’re trying to get pregnant and get a negative test result, you should still avoid alcohol, cigarettes and recreational drugs, just in case you are actually pregnant. Testing at Home All home pregnancy tests are urine tests that measure the amount of hCG in your urine. You can find early home pregnancy tests in grocery stores, drug stores and pharmacies. But before you head out to buy one, you may want to know: "How soon can I take a pregnancy test at home?" There are two different types of home pregnancy tests: dip or midstream. In a dip test, you fill a clean, provided container with urine and hold a test strip in the urine for a specific amount of time. In a midstream test, you hold the test in your stream of urine. Both types of tests are equally reliable, but you need to read the enclosed instructions to make sure you take the test correctly. Many false negatives are due to incorrectly reading the instructions. Most home pregnancy tests are accurate if you test around the time you miss your period. If you tried testing earlier and got a negative result, try again after your period was due. And you can even try again a few days later, because hCG continues to rise in the first part of your pregnancy.
