My husband had a vasectomy 2 years ago, we both do not have any children and at the time we didnt want children, I regret the decision very much, well this month I am 3 days late and hoping that I am pregnant, I dont think that I am though I took 3 hpt and all came back -. Please keep me in your prayers

wow... your really lucky if you are.. my husband had a vasectomy two years ago, and desperatly want to have another baby.. too late though, i guess... congradulations!!

My husband also had a vas. 3 years ago. I am now two days late for my pd. I was wondering how many women actually got pregnant. i feel like I am getting my pd. I am cramping and stuff. I did not think their were so many women like me regretting their husbands vas. best of luck to all.

I think I may be in the same boat, but feel terrible that I will not be happy like it sounds you all are. I have 3 and 4 year old boys and they are only 12 months apart. My husband had a vasectomy after the 2nd one and now I am having pregnancy symptom (sore b___sts, feeling of fullness, s_x dreams, etc). I was looking in my purse for some money to go buy a pregnancy test when I found, in a hidden pocket, a pregnancy test still in the unopened wrapper. Is this a sign or what? Anyway, I'm going to wait and take it first thing in the morning. I wish I could be happy about the possibility, but quite frankly, I do not want another child. If I am pregnant, I'm sure I get happier as the time comes, but my choice would be to not be pregnant.

My father had a vasectomy after I was born. In september of 1984 my younger sister was born. so it does happen!! Dad even went to the dr that did the vasectomy and asked to check the sperm count. the dr still said that there weren't enough to have gotten pregnant cause there were only one or two active sperm in his s____n. Well my sister was made of one of those! Good Luck

I'ts funny how so many of us went along with the whole "vasectomy thing and next thing you know it's like we are praying to God that we get pregnant cuz we feel we made a terrible mistake! I am glad I'm not alone in this, but at the same time I dont know how much longer I can take of "could I be pregnant?" My husband had his done a month after our second child. this was 3.5 years ago and even tho at the time it was due to a combo of two babies 17 months apart, not enough money, him working out of town and only home once a week, we decided this was best. But I've regretted it ever since. And now so has my husband. We are planning on a vasovasectomy next spring and I feel very impatient. My best freind just found our she was preg which even tho I am very happy for her, I cried for days and even avoided her for a week or so. I cant thank everyone enough for giving a feeling of "not alone". And altho those of us that do want this to come true so much feel like the "not alone" isnt really enough, it's a big help. Maybe if we all pray at the same time really really loud someone up there will hear us! lol

Well I am not pregnant. I do not know if I am sad or not. I am so mixed. I love my 3 children and my life is moving on but one part of me is unhappy about not having a baby. My youngest is now 4 and I some times miss the baby thing. when will I ever get over it. I do not know why I feel so sad about them growing up. I am not sure if it is I really want another or just missing mine when they were babies. Best of luck Kym

Amy, did you take the test yet? Jenn, it couldn't hurt!! anyone want to set a day and time that we could all be praying together (even though we are apart) at the same time for the same intention?? How does 3:00pm tomorrow sound?

I too am in the same boat as the other women who are wishing and hoping their husband's Vasectomy was a failure...my husband was 24 and I was 20 when he had his 3 years ago. I am almost 24 and my two boys are 10 1/2 apart in age, now that they are getting older ( 3 & 4) I am so wanting another one, I never agreed with his vas. when he had it done, and I just always wish I was pregnant again, and it gives me hope to see you all feel the same. I searched the internet for a site with info like this...I figure him having a reversal is a difficult choice to make, and expensive, but would be worth it, but I just hope it happens without a reversal, because it would mean it was meant to be, without me feeling like I am forcing him to have another child...

Hi guys, i have a 4 month old hubby had vasectomy 8 weeks ago. i am a week late.I have a 4 yr old boy and 4 month old girl. i took test tonight and got a + i will take the other one in the morning. Scared because of money my hubby got hurt in Iraq and is disabled, and is in the process of medical discharge from the army, so when he is discharged we will have no insurance, no job which i just went back to work as a hairstylist, which i will have to cut down my hours, i was on bed rest with my daughter for 7 months, had diabetes and high blood pressure. I know God would not give me what i can not handle but its sure gonna be tough! thanks for letting me vent, oh ya im 35:)

I'm so glad I found this web site. I needed this encouragement. My husband had a vas.about 6 years ago for good reasons . We've been married for 3 and are saving for a reversal. Family is not all happy after all we have 5 children . 3 of mine and 2 of his .ages10-6 so we're pretty busy all the time but we want another one call us crazy . Today I realized I'm a few days late maybe wishful thinking,but when I got to church today a friend who didn't know about us wanting another child tells me she had a dream about me being pregnant. I was shocked ! I got me excited. I'm gonna wait a week or so and see.

I have the same question. My husband had a vasectomy five years ago. We have only been married a few months. We have unprotected s_x (of course-we thought we were safe). Since Early June-have been having a lot of symptoms but felt like I was just losing my mind or wishful thinking. So i was just wondering if it is indeed possible to have a child after a vasectomy. I am afraid to take a test but my b___sts have been sore, swollen feeling, tender and have started to burn in my nipples, when the burning starts, within minutes, i start leaking a white substance. my period is off and other symptoms. has anyone had this happen to them, or know of someone who has? Please help. I feel confused because I didn't think it was possible. afraid to get excited, scared to take the test.
