Hi my husband and I are trying to conceive, for three years now!!! I have not been feeling myself lately Ive had headaches lower back pain and constant nausea my period came tuesday with just a light discharge and ended thursday. this is weird for me my period usually lasts 4-5 days and is always very heavy, I took a home test but it came back negative could I still be pregnant?

Possibly. A light bleed is not uncommon in early pregnanccy. That hormone doubles every few days. Test again in a week using first morning pee. I wish you luck!

thank you I really want this my stomach is as hard as a rock im just concerned it runs in my family that the hcg levels are really low could that be genetic?

I am 5 days late, I did two pregnancy tests one in the morning and one at night, both have come positive (1-2 weeks). I was late about three months ago and did the same process, so I was very excited. So I went to my GP and had a blood test done, and the results were negative that I wasn't pregnant. I am worried that this time around it will be the same result. Any advice would be great.

Very unusual. If you are pregnant the hormone doubles every few days. Run another home test a week after the last and go back to the doctor if the positive is getting stronger/faster. You are not listing any early pregnancy signs other than a missing period, which inclines me toward the blood test result. GL!
