My boyfriend and I have been together almost 3 years and about 2 1/2 years ago he got a surgery to help correct varicocele veins. Before his surgery he got a sperm count test done and the doctor said his sperm count was 0 but the surgery could possibly improve this. I'm not on any birth control because we figured he's infertile and if I were to get pregnant it would have to be a miracle. I've never been late on my period and we've been having unprotected sex this entire time I'm now late on my period though. I was due for my period about a few days ago and 3 days ago I noticed some red spotting when I wiped. I figured I had started my period so I put a tampon in and the next day I took it out and there was no blood. I'm now late for my period and aside from some slight cramping here and there i dont feel like i usually do before i start. I don't know what the chances would be since his sperm count was really low so I don't really want to get my hopes up. I'm just wondering if it sounds like I could be pregnant or if there is any other explanations for spotting and my period being late?
