Heya just saying hey to everyone im new to the forum ill be a single mother of a lil boy i got my first sonogram a few days ago i am 20 weeks and excited. Right now i am new to all this this will be my first child and i wouldnt know the first thing about being a single mother any advice feel free to throw it my way. (what can i take for allergies?) =P

for allergies, id talk with your doctor. I am now a single mother of two. 5.5 years ago i had my first and became a single mom for the first time with her when she was about 2.5 years old. it was fine for me since dad was still apart of her life, even if it was only every now and then, he was still there and as of today, its the same. she knows who her daddy is and they talk at least once a week on the phone. With number 2 i became a single mother, by choice again, when i was around 4 month along. i ended up moving 13 hours away to be closer to family when i was6 months along. i have had nothing but a phone relationship with dad to this point and baby is only 6 days old. Being a single mom has its challenges but if you have family support, it makes a huge difference. if you can create a friendship with dad, even if you had a c___ppy relationship, it makes things that much better. both dads for me, was a bad relationship but having that common ground for the kids, helps big time. In the end everyone has to realize that its about the kids and whats best for them and putting all selfishness aside. if you have any questions, feel free to ask. id be glad to talk.
