Father Away

My husband is in the army, and is always away, without me being able to contact him. He contacts me when gets the chance to. I feel like sometimes he puts his career before me and the baby. I gave up my career for this baby, but he won't scarafice his. We argue a lot about this. I fell like i am going through this by myself, I have no family around and all my friends haven't gone through pregnancy. I am in the army as well, so still have to work. At the end of the day i just want a hug, but he isn't here. I am by myself, The last thing i am annoyed about is having to go out and buy everything on my own, I thought this was meant to be together thing, but i guess i will do it on my own. Any advice to help me through this would be appreciated, because at the moment i am not happ about having this baby.

come on sharonfields, am sori 2 say but u need to grow up a little! its unfortunate your husband is away and yes it must be hard on you being alone but i don't believe it's right for you to want him to give up his carrer just because u are having his baby. Was giving up your career your personal desicion or did he pressure u to do so? Did you conceive this baby with a mutual understanding that he wld hv to give up his career and be there with u fulltime? What if he actually gave up his career and was around all the time but miserable, would that make u happy? at least u know he will come bac home to you. To alot of women on this forum that is not even an option, so u should be thankful and enjoying your pregnancy even though circ_mstances aren't quite 'perfect'

You are right to feel however you feel, sometimes our lifes circ_mstances can be very difficult and not work out exactly the way that we want them to. I understand how hard it is to be doing it alone and i hope that you guys are able to find a sort of middle ground where everyone is happy, and don;t worry about the last persons post, she posted on one of mine as well, seeme to me she just enjoys scanning through these and pa__sing judgement lol I hope you are able to work all this out and are able to get excited about your pregnancy, best of luck to you

TiffVano am in no way pa__sin judgement! Am exactly in the same situation that she is in, and this is not at all how i dreamt my first pregnancy would be like. i always thought i wld be with the father of my baby and get terribly spoilt and all that.... Well reality isn't always so kind as we dream but i believe we have to take it in stride and make the best of what life offers us instead of whirling in wat shd be! At the very least i would want sharonfields to be happy about the little life growing within her.
