How To Tell How Far Along I Am

Hello ladies, I just received the SHOCKING news that I'm pregnant on yesterday. I have almost no doubt as to whom the father of my child is, but I do have a small question in the back of my mind. The doctor I visited with said that the HCG blood test results would indicate how pregnant I am. How accurate is this test? How many weeks off could it be from the actually date of conception? Someone help me figure this out...I'd just like to rule out the possibility of conceiving in March-when I conceived is a big "deal breaker" for me as far as keep or not keep/ have or not have the child. I believe I had a period this past month-so this would be my first missed period then again what if this is my second missed period. If you haven't figured by now, I'm single, under 27 years of age, and this is my first experience with the possibility. HELP!

if it helps any... i knew my exact conception date... and the doctors said going by the date of my last period my due date was july 11.. but going by my conception date it was july 16... my ultrasound showed july 18 so they were a week off... and just out of curiosity... what does the date have to do with keeping the baby or not?

Hey girl...I just found out myself that I am expecting I am 27...I think the best bet would just ask the doctor for an estimated date of conception which will help to give you are pretty good idea of when you concived. Your doctor knows how to do this...They did it for me fore and its very accurate.
