I wanted to say things for me are going great. I am going to be a single mother ( baby's father passed away ) and living paycheck to paycheck. I live with my dad sleeping in the living room of his one bedroom apartment. I didn't have a job,car insurance, my tag was expired, and a bank account in the negative when I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks after the death of my boyfriend. I was in despair. But I found a motivation I never knew I had. Now im all caught up financially, Im working 2 jobs ( office by day, wal-mart at night ) and my dad and I will be moving into a 3 bedroom home with a huge front and back yard. We will split the rent and until I have the baby I am putting all paychecks from both jobs into savings ( minus bills of course ) and I figured it out today that I will have enough money saved to take off 8 months from work and still pay my share of the bills until it's time to look for work again ! I am soo happy because I was freaking out at the thought of having to put a 6 week old in daycare. I am not bragging or boasting. Just saying that I know for us single moms it can seems like the end of the world but if we stay strong, put childish ways aside and get serious it will all work out in our favor. Look at where I was....I got where I am now not because of handouts but inner strength. We all have it. It hasn't been an easy road either, I've had alot to deal with. I hope there are other women who know everything will work out and I wish peace of mind to all of them !!!

Great post krc.....very encouraging. I'm so glad everything has worked out for you so far. I noticed in one of your other post that you said your 20 weeks pregnant. I'm also 20 weeks and was curious when your due. Do you know what your having yet? I'm having a boy. I’m currently having hard times but I know it will get better.

i am 20 weeks and having a boy !!!! I'm soo happy because I really did not want a girl. I prayed everyday to god asking for a son and he answered my prayer !!! His name is Ethan Daniel !!!! Do you have names picked out yet?

My due date is July 28th and I'm so happy it's a boy also! I already have a daughter and I actually let her pick the baby’s first name, Brandon. I haven't thought of any middle names yet.

I just found this site and saw your post about the babies father dieing when you were first pregnant that just recently happened to my im 19yrs old and 14 weeks pregnant and the babies dad just died 3 weeks ago.i put up a post to ask question on what to do because i have no idea at all. i cant get a job no one will hire me i lost the place i lived at because my fiance died and he was my means of support i have some goverment a__sitance but only medical and food stamps i have no money or anything and not sure what to do to hep support myself. grant it im living with my parents again but with this and much more going on between my fiances family and such my parents are completely broke i cant afford the things i need (clothes,medicine,ect.) if you have any adivce or would like to talk to me i would apperciate it very very much. my e-mail is Breathingintune@hotmail.com

holy cow ! I was living with my dad when I wrote this ! Interesting to read what I was thinking back then!! My son is now 10 weeks old and I live with my mom. I am going back to school thru keiser college. It will only take 2 years, then I can move out of my moms and provide a good life for my son ! WOOHOO
