My boy friend and i have been together for 4 years and we have a 1 year old daughter together. last year i broke up with him for a week or two and it was his birthday so he went out and got drunk andhe says he doesnt remember what happend that night. so now its 2012 and this girl messaged him on facebook saying he had a son that is 3 months old its still a shock to me so im still upset .I told him i would be there to help am i stupid to try and take this on

If your man is basically a good guy, and a good father to your daughter, I think you should let it go. So far you only have the woman's word to go on. If she sleeps around at parties the father might be someone else. Ask if she would mind a paternity test just to confirm the facts. Then, if your bf is the father, he will have some child support and visitation issues to address, and you should be part of the decision making team. Heck, for all we know she might be a lovely person who made a silly mistake, and just wants her child to know its father. Embrace the situation and live life to the fullest!
