Nine years ago, I got pregnant. I few weeks later, we married. He regretted the marriage and offered to terminate his parental rights. Legally, we couldn't divorce because I was pregnant. But then he just left and have never heard from him since. I don't know where he's at and don't really want to know because he was physically abusive to me. I have no financial problems raising my son and have my family's support. Can I terminate his parental rights? His name is on my son's birth certificate.

Well... if you haven't heard from him, I don't know why you're concerned with his parental rights. Cause it seems like you're free to make all the decisions yourself. Are you worried that he'll come back sometime in the future?
