Is he born yet? Either way it does affect your child. If you undergo big stress while you're pregnant (apart from the normal pregnancy worries and stresses) then it can affect your child, eg when baby is born it may be really unsettled and grizzly. And of course when it is born if you are stressed then, then the baby will pick up on this as well and it may impact on them negatively. The best thing you can do is to take care of yourself!! Take medication if necessary and (obviously) try and reduce the stress in your life. You need to look after yourself so that you can take the best care possible of your son. You may have ante or post-natal depression and you need to take this seriously. It is very common as you would know, and there is no shame in seeking help to balance out the depression and help you cope.

I've heard of a study that says that women who have higher levels of stress during pregnancy are like 10 times moer likely to have children with ADHD and other behavioral disorders.
