my son's father and i split up b4 i found out i was pregnant, when i told him he seemed disappointed but later came around, granted when we talk its purely about the baby and his up coming arrival, my mom has been a great asset to me, letting me stay with her since the doctor's put me on bed rest, but she is constantly sharing her negative opinion of my son's dad and critizes every choice i make, Im 22 and I was living an independent life when i became pregnant. how can i get her off mine and his back without making her think i dont appreciate what's she's done for me?

tell her you don't want her opinion on the baby's father and that it's stressing you and if she cares about you and your baby, she'll allow you to rest and stay healthy. and an ipod nice and loud helps too =P
