My period was due on the 7th but it has yet to arrive. I had unprotected s_x on the 30th. I took a pregnancy test because my best friend asked me to yesterday but it came back negative. I wasn't stressing about this until yesterday. My period is never late. I haven't taken any new medications I've been on break from school so I've not been stressing over anything, I'm not doing anything differently I haven't lost weight or gained it rapidly. Nothing. I'm wondering if I should wait another few days and take another pregnancy test or if I should just wait? I'm very worried now.

S_x on March 23 would have been far more likely to get you pregnant. If you were pregnant you would be reciting some kind of list of early pregnancy signs by now. My guess is that you skipped a cycle, but test again in a week to make sure. If you are trying to avoid pregnancy, remember that you ovulate about 14 days before your next period is expected, that the egg is only good for one day, but sperm can lie in wait for five days. Learn your signs of ovulation too - fertile mucus, an ovulation cramp, , high libido, cervix soft, high, open and wet. GL!
