I'm 17 and my fiance is 19. I'm going into my last year in high school. I moved in with him because we thought it would be easier but now neither of us can find jobs and be have applied every where. To make things worse both of our parents may be losing their jobs to due to lay offs. I'm very excited about to baby though, i'm just worried about supporting it.

I'm in a similar situation, I am turning 17 in few months and I am also engaged, he's 18, and very excited about becoming a dad. I am half way through one of my courses and i know he's been working hard so he can join the air force. Its hard for me to know what to do, i haven't told my parents yet and neither of us have jobs, we we're meant to move in together this august but my parents forced me to stay at home. I have no idea where i will live or how i will afford this baby, all i know is that i am so glad that it is coming despite all these things, i know we'll both find a way. :)

I'm very happy also. Things are actually starting to get better it seems. A very good job came his way today and he is going to take it. It pays pretty well so we will be able to support ourselves soon. I'm so thankful. Just pray. Thats what I did and it seems to be working. =)

Im also 17.I hope my information will help you.I love to see young moms like myself do good for themselves.we jus all need to help each other out... I think forr you any job will help.its better to find a job before you start showing..pray pray pray.it works.and I suggest you getting on medicaid.go to any clinic and ask for proof of pregnancy.medicaid can't deny you because your pregnant.find a doc that accepts medicaid.it will pay for all you medicine, you doc visits, your delivery, and even after the baby is born.the milk ect.ect.do it as soon as possible.you need your prenatal viamins. That'l be less you have to worry about.and less you have to pay for.good luck. If you need any other information get at me.I don't mind at all.

Hey! Well... I finished my last year of highschool while I was pregnant, and I was broke. My boyfriend and I were on welfare for a while untill he got a job. It was hard for a little bit, but basically my advice is to spend cheap. Don't buy expensive stuff. You will be fine just be patient. Time give us good paths. It is not a shame to get help from the government for a bit until you can get a job
